Default oh, what pains, and what pills to take

Well, if I take two, it lowers down to abdomen. Three, and the pain
goes down to my knees. I've not tried four, that would put the pain in
the cellar.

How far does it lower it? Down to the nads? Knees? Ankles?

Your veterinarian prescribed ibu? You are a horse?

I recall, some time ago, having a little back trouble. Vet prescribed
those
800 mg ibuprofen.

Years ago I had a bleeding ulcer. My stomach has given me fits for
years.
I now take half an OTC Prylosec daily, which has resulted in the best
I've
felt in years.

Back to the back trouble of the old days. About the time my back
started
feeling better, my stomach was killing me. Ibuprofen is very touch
on the
stomach, assuming one is inclined to suffer that affliction.

Like the Bedouins used to say. Trust in Allah, but keep your camel
tied. Much the same with Mormons, though we don't have camels any
more. God helps those who help themselves. Part of our mortal
experience, learning how to take care of our own problems. As best we
can.

Same deal with the ibuprophen. The old yellow Nuprin were excellent.
The small brown generics are useless. The BJ's Wholesale club generic
were OK for the white ones, and the colored ones aren't great. I've
got some Motrin, trying that out and see if it's any good.

Why take drugs? Jesus will heal you !!!!

Yes, aspirin is high acid. Well, being "acetylsalicyic acid", it ...
uh.... it IS acid.

Gunner my friend, I'm deathly allergic to tobacco and pot smoke. My
mother chain smoked cigarettes she she was pregnant with me and I
went cold turkey on nicotine at the age of one day. The only time I
wasn't crying was when I was breast feeding and getting a dose of
the drug that way. I was laying in the crib screaming "GIMME A DAMN
CIGARETTE!" but nobody understood what I was saying. As a child, I
had green slime running out my nose at all times. Tobacco smoke is
like pepper spray to me. I'm not the only person who reacts to in
that way as I've met more than one other person who has the same
reaction to the smoke as I have. If me and other people have such a
strong negative response to second hand smoke, it must be dangerous.
I wish it didn't affect me the way it does, it limits the number of
places I can go and people I can get around.

As a result of an 8 hour heart surgery, I cannot take being within

range
of
anyone smoking a cigarette, or smoking a cigar. There ought to be a

law
that anyone smoking a cigar in public can be shot with no consequences

to
the shooter.

Steve

My wife can smell someone smoking a cigarette in a car several 100' in
front
of us on the highway - at highway speeds, even with the windows closed.
Some people are just ultrasensitive to smoke, and tobacco smoke in
particular.

Bobby G.

I used to smoke, but haven't in at least ten years now. Now, my wife or I
can smell it a mile away, and if we come in contact with someone smoking,
can smell it on our clothes when we get home. I can tell when I'm within
ten foot of a smoker, even if they aren't smoking.

We were in New Orleans a while back and though we asked for a non-smoking
room, we were assigned to one that smelled as if someone had been
deliberately smoked to death inside it. The drapes, the bed covers, the
rugs all STANK of smoke to the extent that I had to wonder when they last
cleaned anything.

If you want to make yourself sick, buy small portable UV lamp and examine
the floors and the bedcovers. Yuk. Now, it's even worse. I've known two
people that have brought home bedbugs after staying at what most would
consider top-end hotel chains. If the guest before you had them, you'll get
them, too.

I got a $10 discount for complaining when something bit the hell out of me
in a motel in Kansas City.

Sometimes, when I buy something from Ebay, it's saturated with cigarette
smells (or worse). The last item I bought smelled of cherry pipe tobacco,
two smells that definitely DON'T belong together.

Get a prescription for 800mg time-release ibuprofen.
Should work fine by itself, but with a Spaten Optimator
chaser, it's marvelous. Can you drink beer for medicinal
purposes?

You do know that most ulcers have been found to be the result of
bacteria

Yep! Helicobacter pylori. I've been through the "cure" three times,
including taking bismuth. Seems my acid production was out of control, so
it returned with a vengeance. Science, at one time, figured nothing could
survive in the human stomach. They were wrong. It thrives in acid
conditions.

I finally made the connection between stopping taking the anti-biotic
(Tagamet those days) and the beginning of the decline of how I felt. By
taking the half each day, (with the vet's approval) I am now enjoying what
I'd consider a normal stomach. I dare not stop, for fear the pain and
discomfort will return. I also had heart burn that could light a small
city. That, too, is gone.

Life is good!

Harold

RXs were causing me stomach probs.
I now add small amounts to the water I drink throughout the day.
No stomach probs. Feel great.

What kind? (RX's) I'm still bothered by aspirin or similar compounds when
taken regularly, or in excess. I have a little arthritis, which is easily
controlled by Aleve. Can't take them regularly, however.

So, do all antismokerists who join the church automatically come down
with hypersensitivity disorder?

Thanks,

responsibility. Asshole.

Nope. I smoked 3 packs of unfiltered Camels a day for nearly 15 years.
I quit in 1984. Haven't touched one since. Often while working,I still
find myself reaching into my pocket looking for cigarettes. I still
like the smell, amd I don't avoid it at all.
