This is written in a style that seems to be a little bit undereducated
for such a high ranking genius.

So ask your friend again, what are the page numbers so that we can
check for ourselves.

In various contexts I can find info on each thing stated, or something
very close to it.

Nothing definitive, though. Mostly blurbs on fairly-far-right
websites.

There is a vietnam vet air-force general who does support obama, maybe
this is a mini-swift-boat attempt to counter the supporting general.
(General Merrill "Tony" McPeak)

Not really on either side of this, just speculating.

That sounds fairly unlikely - but just in case, I have a copy tucked
away at http://www.iedu.com/mrd/Constitution.html so that you'll have a
copy at your fingertips.

There's a related document, the first act of the Continental Congress,
at http://www.iedu.com/mrd/07041776.html - also good to read. :-)

I dont care if you do or dont.

Why should I? Its obvious that those Useful Idiots on the Left who
would support him, would support him no matter what

After all...they all want "Change", not that they can define what that
promised "change" is gonna be and who is gonna get ****ed by it.

I didnt forward it to the Bommabots, but to anyone who cared to read
and research for themselves.

Shug..no hair off my ass if you get your panties all in a wad. In
fact..I find it rather amusing, and based on the knee jerk posts so
far..we can clearly detect who the Bommabots are.

Gosh Gunner - what startling and disturbing news!. Thank you for
drawing it to the worlds attention by posting in a usenet forum.
Thankfully, there are people like The General who can read his books
and see, in black and white, what everyone else who has read them
missed - (its a liberal conspiracy, obviously)

I, my family, and indeed the rest of the world can sleep peacefully
tonight, knowing that a person of The Generals ability is in charge of
military operations and that he will direct the Awesome Military Power
of the United States against the enemies of Freedom and Democracy....

I can say no more, choked as I am with gratitude for knowing that
people such as The General are in charge and controlling the worlds
destiny.

Not sure about others, but for me the decision of who I vote for would
be difficult enough even if both sides talked truthfully about (only)
their own position - because I find myself in agreement with different
parts of both parties platforms.

When they don't do that - and when proponents of one or the other begin
injecting outright falsehoods - the evaluation process is made even more
difficult, and I'm inclined to view such lies as attempts to subvert the
entire democratic election process.

/My/ intent wasn't to make anyone look stupid or dishonest - it was to
determine the truth of what appeared to be a questionable assertion
about material that I had read multiple times and could not recall any
part to which the assertion could be applied.

I would have been considerably happier if Gunner had included a list of
page numbers to the material he found objectionable.

Stupid and dishonest people seldom need much help to look that way, no
matter what their politics.

Don't bother with Gunner when he's being political. He thinks whatever
he's told to think, and doesn't bother with critical thinking. "Truth"
in a political discussion is "a sound Gunner makes that makes you vote
the way Gunner wants".

Last election cycle he told me that I was greedy because I didn't mind
being taxed more if it would benefit everyone -- and I'm not in a low
tax bracket.

Let's repeat:

me: "I'm willing to pay more in taxes than I get back in services,
for the good of all."
Gunner: "You're a greedy so-and-so"

Once again:

me: "I'll give away my wealth"
Gunner: "You greedy @#$%"

I don't know if he gets paid for it or if he just swallows the stories
whole, but don't expect sensible politics from him ever, and certainly
not close to an election.

An ultra leftwinger returning the Constitution back to its original
intent?

Right Leo...and can I interest you in some ocean front property just
east of Phoenix? Make you a hell of a deal. Cash only however.

The Constittution has been the major impediment to virtually EVERY
Liberal agenda since the 60s..and yet you claim the Marxist Barry
Obamassiah is going to return it to the Founders intent......

After all these years incrementally slashing most of it to ribbons, or
legislating work arounds by fiat...suddenly the Left is going to
return it to the Founders intent......

Oh **** yes.

If your claim had the slightest bit of truth in it..Id vote for the
sonobitch myself.

your claim is so bogus Im surprised your computer didnt reject it and
give you the blue screen of death.

Now interpreted another way...Id not be surprised if the Leftists do
return parts of the Constitution back to the way it was before
Bush...before the Left got its ass handed to it for its attempts at
Nanny State building.

Gonna wipe that pesky Heller decision right off the history books,
right? Tax breaks, selling off surplus government lands....giving the
IRA and the ATF their armed gunships back....

Ayup..just what we all need...IRS agents in heavily armed gunships....

You will love it wontcha Leo?

Papers Please! A start up of the Gulag system....say Leo..you do
know you are a Kulack..doncha?

Be damned careful of what you wish for old son....you might get it.

Forces guys by one of our most experienced and respected Officers - a
full Colonel - who was offered General if he would stay in. He
elected to retire and has been working for the Special Operations
Command as a very highly ranked civilian ever since, influencing many
top secret projects for the better. A very intelligent, practical and
down to earth individual. And a very, very good personal friend of

I don't care if he was born on Mars, and Michelle is a
reincarnation of Lucretia Borgia, and Torquemada is his minister, read
his books. Then remember what they taught us in Special Forces, "know
thy opposition". So go do it - read his books! When you get to the
part about the $2800 National Property tax if your house is worth more
than $125,000 and the $1000 tax payment by each family to the UN
Global Fund. Read the part about the return to the 70% tax rate and
the return to the capital gains tax that will dry up all investment,
and the death tax that will force your family to sell your farm,
business or house to pay the IRS.

Oh, and then read Michelle's plan (endorsed by Obama) for the
reparations we have to pay to all the descendents of slaves.

Oh, and then read the chapter on his proposed National Police Force
that will equal the Armed Forces in power and will be manned by
National Service (read forced service or Draft) required of all
graduating High school students and which reports only to the
President. Remember Herr Hitler and his Brown Shirts?

READ HIS BOOKS, THEN READ THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF
AMERICA. If Obama gets elected, the Constitution goes away, never to
be heard of again."

I can say no more, choked as I am with gratitude for knowing that
people such as The General are in charge and controlling the worlds
destiny.

Evidently your reading comprehension issues are as yet, unrresolved.
Pity. What general were you referring to?

I failed to see any in the forwarded message.

Or is this your attempt at jocularity and buffoonery?

Me, a buffoon - surely you jest Gunner - my comments were most

seeing as how the Government has been unable to perform it's duty of
keeping the populace safe, the citizenry will have to do the job. And
anyone who objects too strenuously to the simple idea of enforcing
national sovereignty is likely to be considered an enemy agent, if not
an enemy combatant.
And that will be bad. Civil wars usually are. And this is not

But the left will get their nanny state, however it will be more of a

Not sure about others, but for me the decision of who I vote for would be
difficult enough even if both sides talked truthfully about (only) their
own position - because I find myself in agreement with different parts of
both parties platforms.

When they don't do that - and when proponents of one or the other begin
injecting outright falsehoods - the evaluation process is made even more
difficult, and I'm inclined to view such lies as attempts to subvert the
entire democratic election process.

/My/ intent wasn't to make anyone look stupid or dishonest - it was to
determine the truth of what appeared to be a questionable assertion about
material that I had read multiple times and could not recall any part to
which the assertion could be applied.

I would have been considerably happier if Gunner had included a list of
page numbers to the material he found objectionable.

Morris, you can save yourself a lot of time by ignoring anything that Gunner
cuts and pastes here. It's usually from an unidentified source that he picks
up in the right-wing nutbag blogs and websites, often from a "military
officer just returned from Iraq," or, in this case, a "Vietnam vet who
refused a promotion to general." The Special Forces angle is a nice twist.

He never knows the source, and he has no interest in whether it's true.
We've called him on this bull**** so many times that it's become a joke.
Typically, he'll drop these turds and then demand that you disprove it, like
he's done here. When he's in a corner he'll start insulting you and your
mother -- I see that he went right for your given name in this case and
tried to make a joke of it. g

Don't try to reason with him. To borrow a phrase, you'll just frustrate
yourself and annoy the pig.

The parachute ("Bring it back for a free exchange if it doesn't work")
was Army - and the wings were normally either Army (most reliable
aircraft) or Air Force (usually 'more or less' airworthy).

The biggest downside to that mode of travel is that there aren't any
friendly skies or hospitable destinations.

Good on you.

As far as I've been able to determine the entire forward is false and
misleading.

Oh..like most of Obamas positions?

Btw...have you seen this yet?

http://democrats-against-obama.org/

Chuckle.....

Say..hows that nasty lawsuit Democrats have going against Obama doing?

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/p-j-gla...-against-obama

In the lawsuit, Berg (an ardent Democrat) states that Sen. Obama was
born in Kenya, and not in Hawaii as the senator maintains. Before
giving birth, according to the lawsuit, Obama's mother traveled to
Kenya with his father but was prevented from flying back to Hawaii
because of the late stage of her pregnancy, "apparently a normal
restriction to avoid births during a flight." As Sen. Obama's own
paternal grandmother, half-brother and half-sister have also claimed,
Berg maintains that Stanley Ann Dunham--Obama's mother--gave birth to
little Barack in Kenya and subsequently flew to Hawaii to register the
birth.

Berg cites inconsistent accounts of Sen. Obama's birth, including
reports that he was born at two separate hospitals--Kapiolani Hospital
and Queens Hospital--in Honolulu, as well a profound lack of birthing
records for Stanley Ann Dunham, though simple "registry of birth"
records for Barack Obama are available in a Hawaiian public records
office.

Should Sen. Obama truly have been born in Kenya, Berg writes, the laws
on the books at the time of his birth hold that U.S. citizenship may
only pass to a child born overseas to a U.S. citizen parent and
non-citizen parent if the former was at least 19 years of age. Sen.
Obama's mother was only 18 at the time. Therefore, because U.S.
citizenship could not legally be passed on to him, Obama could not be
registered as a "natural born" citizen and would therefore be
ineligible to seek the presidency pursuant to Article II, Section 1 of
the United States Constitution.

Moreover, even if Sen. Obama could have somehow been deemed "natural
born," that citizenship was lost in or around 1967 when he and his
mother took up residency in Indonesia, where Stanley Ann Dunham
married Lolo Soetoro, an Indonesian citizen. Berg also states that he
possesses copies of Sen. Obama's registration to Fransiskus Assisi
School In Jakarta, Indonesia which clearly show that he was registered
under the name "Barry Soetoro" and his citizenship listed as
Indonesian.

The Hawaiian birth certificate, Berg says, is a forgery. In the suit,
the attorney states that the birth certificate on record is a forgery,
has been identified as such by three independent document forensic
experts, and actually belonged to Maya Kasandra Soetoro, Sen. Obama's
half-sister.

Your opinon of course doesnt count..please provide cites

I don't particularly care if you value my opinion or not. The cites are
the complete texts of the two books.

Is that all he has written?

I'll echo your anonymous fellow traveler's suggestion: read the books.

Ive read enough of his positions, his speeches and his history to know
he is a Marxist puppet..an empty suit controlled by his masters behind
the throne. He makes Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton look good.

His wife has been likened to the spirtual twin of Angela Davis.

Just what we need controlling the single remaining world
power......the man with the Football.

A shill for the Daley machine..and you want to make him President?

Right...go ahead and put a weasel in the hen house. It will just
bring the Revolution a lot closer to actually happening.

You folks on the left have a long history of never looking at the
ultimate results of your actions..the unintended consequences. Given
the horrific history of such unintended consequences your lot have
been responsible for...shrug...

Lets hope you can avoid being responsible for a civil war. But..your
lot isnt that smart. Just keep in mind, when you push that button for
Barry..you may be pushing the reset button on the nation.

See you at the barracades.

results." - John Tucci,

Your opinon of course doesnt count..please provide cites

You (as usual) want specifics but fail to provide them yourself. A credible
author would provide chapter and page numbers of supposed quotes from a
published book.

Mindless robots see "forward this to as many people as you can" at the
bottom of an e-mail and do as instructed without any thought to accuracy, as
long as it fits their preconceived ideas.

Say..did you read "The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of
Personality? Its fascinating reading.

Ah, Jerome Corsi. He's Gunner's kind of writer -- a liar and a political
hitman, suited for fools and idiots. Here are a few current headlines:

Aug 25, 2008 Kansas City Star:
"The goal is to defeat Obama. I don't want Obama to be in office" -- Jerome
Corsi

Aug 27, Nashua Telegraph, NH:
"Don't be bamboozled by Corsi's new book"

Aug 26, Media Matters for America, DC:
"Even WND disputes Corsi's phony Obama birth certificate claim"
("Summary: WorldNetDaily.com, for which Jerome Corsi, author of the
debunked and discredited book The Obama Nation, works as a staff
reporter...") (Jeez, even his own publisher says he's full of crap)

Here are more headlines from the past few days:

"Using a PhD as a weapon of mass disinformation"

"The things that escape our spam filters"
("All these items had one thing in common: Their author is Jerome Corsi,
the guy who gave us the bible of the Swift Boat Liars, "Unfit For Command,"...)

"Sacrificing accuracy, truth"
("Every four years Jerome Corsi writes a book about the Democratic
candidate for president that breathlessly "exposes" him as a raving radical
with a "secret ...)

And mo

"Anti-Obama book marks the return of a literary hatchet man"
Kansas City Star, MO - Aug 25, 2008
("But no author besmirches the literary calling quite like Jerome R.
Corsi, whose latest treatise, The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the
Cult of ...")

"Mary Matalin, Jerome Corsi, and the GOP Political Hit Job ..."
U.S. News & World Report, DC - Aug 18, 2008

"Smears and Slurs without Legal Consequences: How the Law Protects ..."
FindLaw, CA - Aug 21, 2008
("Jerome Corsi is a right-wing hatchet-man, a very nasty fellow who makes
his living hurling false claims and charges at public figures. ...")

"Jerome Corsi's Long Strange, Trip"

Strange trip indeed. Gunner's on for the ride...anyone else want to saddle
up with Jerome Corsi and the Swiftie Slimers?

McCain has even prompted alarms from the right's own favorite hit man du
jour: Jerome Corsi, who Swift-boated John Kerry as co-author of "Unfit to
Command" in 2004 and who is trying to do the same to Obama in his newly
minted best seller, "The Obama Nation."

Corsi's writings have been repeatedly promoted by Sean Hannity on Fox News;
Corsi's publisher, Mary Matalin, has praised her author's "scholarship." If
Republican warriors like Hannity and Matalin think so highly of Corsi's
research into Obama, then perhaps we should take seriously Corsi's
scholarship about McCain. In recent articles at worldnetdaily.com, Corsi has
claimed (among other charges) that the McCain campaign received "strong"
financial support from a "group tied to Al Qaeda" and that "McCain's
personal fortune traces back to organized crime in Arizona."

No need to take it further with anyone. I've satisfied myself that your
source is spreading falsehood and that you seem content to participate.

Did Corsi say that McCain's birth certificate was faked, and that he's
really from New Jersey? Now that you mention it, I do remember a guy who
looked like McCain, drinking with some bimbo around the pool at Sam the
Plumber's house. Maybe I should call Corsi. He'd probably call me "an
unimpeachable source." And that would be true -- they can't impeach me. d8-)
