Say..did you read "The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and the Cult of
Personality? Its fascinating reading.

Ah, Jerome Corsi. He's Gunner's kind of writer -- a liar and a
political hitman, suited for fools and idiots. Here are a few current
headlines:

Aug 25, 2008 Kansas City Star:
"The goal is to defeat Obama. I don't want Obama to be in office" --
Jerome Corsi

Aug 27, Nashua Telegraph, NH:
"Don't be bamboozled by Corsi's new book"

Aug 26, Media Matters for America, DC:
"Even WND disputes Corsi's phony Obama birth certificate claim"
("Summary: WorldNetDaily.com, for which Jerome Corsi, author of the
debunked and discredited book The Obama Nation, works as a staff
reporter...") (Jeez, even his own publisher says he's full of crap)

Here are more headlines from the past few days:

"Using a PhD as a weapon of mass disinformation"

"The things that escape our spam filters"
("All these items had one thing in common: Their author is Jerome
Corsi,
the guy who gave us the bible of the Swift Boat Liars, "Unfit For
Command,"...)

"Sacrificing accuracy, truth"
("Every four years Jerome Corsi writes a book about the Democratic
candidate for president that breathlessly "exposes" him as a raving
radical with a "secret ...)

And mo

"Anti-Obama book marks the return of a literary hatchet man"
Kansas City Star, MO - Aug 25, 2008
("But no author besmirches the literary calling quite like Jerome R.
Corsi, whose latest treatise, The Obama Nation: Leftist Politics and
the
Cult of ...")

"Mary Matalin, Jerome Corsi, and the GOP Political Hit Job ..."
U.S. News & World Report, DC - Aug 18, 2008

"Smears and Slurs without Legal Consequences: How the Law Protects
..." FindLaw, CA - Aug 21, 2008
("Jerome Corsi is a right-wing hatchet-man, a very nasty fellow who
makes his living hurling false claims and charges at public figures.
...")

"Jerome Corsi's Long Strange, Trip"

Strange trip indeed. Gunner's on for the ride...anyone else want to
saddle
up with Jerome Corsi and the Swiftie Slimers?

McCain has even prompted alarms from the right's own favorite hit man du
jour: Jerome Corsi, who Swift-boated John Kerry as co-author of "Unfit to
Command" in 2004 and who is trying to do the same to Obama in his newly
minted best seller, "The Obama Nation."

Corsi's writings have been repeatedly promoted by Sean Hannity on Fox News;
Corsi's publisher, Mary Matalin, has praised her author's "scholarship." If
Republican warriors like Hannity and Matalin think so highly of Corsi's
research into Obama, then perhaps we should take seriously Corsi's
scholarship about McCain. In recent articles at worldnetdaily.com, Corsi has
claimed (among other charges) that the McCain campaign received "strong"
financial support from a "group tied to Al Qaeda" and that "McCain's
personal fortune traces back to organized crime in Arizona."
