Wow, really a Pot-Kettle situation there Wow! you noticed that right away but you completely missed that Pimpton only had a four year degree too. I only completed my bachelor degree, but I did nearly three years of graduate school at what was, at the time, a top 10 school in economics. I know far more economics than you know political "science" - and of course, you don't know politics at all. So how come he's so much better? Your inferiority complex is getting the better of you - he didn't say that I'm "better" than you (even though I am.) |

I know intelligent people who aren't very smart because they're intellectually lazy. I think George W. Bush was one such. No, one of several reason would be, that the above statement isn't true, would would have been apparent, if you had bothered to respond to that list of issues. You've got everything bungled up. This post was to Pimpton and it asked him why he didn't respond to you like he does to me when you said smart and intelligent mean the same thing. It didn't have anything to do with anything else. So you are not responding to the right post. Should I make a big deal out of your error like you always do? But since you were too much of a coward to do so.... it is now a moot point. Sorry to burst your bubble, Dude, but I'm not the least bit afraid to respond to anything you have ever posted. There's nothing you have posted that is even meaningful so why would I fear responding to you? Because you might get all huffy? Another reason could very well be, is that he can understand what I type, since my foot isn't in my mouth up to the knee, like yours is. So you say. As if that means anything. It's pretty easy for me to say your foot gets in your mouth a lot of the time, and when I say that it's true. When you say it it's not such a sure thing. You have a real heavy conservative bias so everything you say needs to be vetted for accuracy and can't simply be taken as true. Actually, I have to check everything you say because of your bias. When you have learned then you are knowledgeable and it doesn't matter how quickly it comes. You can be smart and know nothing. Same with intelligent. You can be intelligent and have no knowledge. The truth is smart and intelligent are synonyms. Ignorance and knowledgeable mean the opposite. You have the two confused. JK told you the same thing and for once he was right about something. Which only goes to prove once again that you don't know near as much as you believe you do and regardless of how intelligent you may be you aren't very knowledgeable about very many things. Hawke |

I already replied to him, and I didn't say anything like that. Why not? Because he's a conservative like you? No, one of several reason would be, that the above statement isn't true, would would have been apparent, if you had bothered to respond to that list of issues. You've got everything bungled up. This post was to Pimpton Quoting my post, (lame attempt to cover yourself as usual) And it wasn't "to Plimpton" it was to the group at large. You want to direct something to some one in particular, use email. and it asked him why he didn't respond to you like he does to me when you said smart and intelligent mean the same thing. He did. He gave it the response and attention it's content warranted, JUST like he does to your's. If you want a different response form him, try changing you content to something that actively involves your brain, and not your "knee jerk" responses. It didn't have anything to do with anything else. So you are not responding to the right post. Absolutely responding to the right post. You claim I am conservative [what ever that means to you] and separately as "right wing" else where. Something that you believe, despite your lack of any real basis. Should I make a big deal out of your error like you always do? Not that there is one, but feel free. You will just get burnt again. But since you were too much of a coward to do so.... it is now a moot point. Sorry to burst your bubble, Dude, but I'm not the least bit afraid to respond to anything you have ever posted. Then respond to that list "dude". There's nothing you have posted that is even meaningful so why would I fear responding to you? Coward is as coward does. Because you might get all huffy? Oh how cute. Another reason could very well be, is that he can understand what I type, since my foot isn't in my mouth up to the knee, like yours is. You have a real heavy conservative bias You have NO idea what my leanings, bias and interests are. You could have learned, but are too afraid. Afraid of having to live up to your claims of amazing awesomeness. You said you knew, yet you have no clue. Actually, I have to check everything you say because of your bias. You check NOTHING, and you know it. Hawke jk |

But then Reagan used to say something to the effect, if you agree with me 80% of the time then you're a conservative. No, he didn't say anything at all like that. I think you agree with the conservative position on far more than half of all issues. I think you don't know your flabby doughy ass from your pimply face when it comes to what my political beliefs are. I really haven't said much about them. Mostly I've just pointed out what **** your beliefs are. |

And no, no one believes that people who know you consider you smart. *We* who suffer through your pedantic bull**** here "know" you, and you're not smart. You don't know anything. We know you well enough to know you're not smart - not about anything. You are too dumb to know that smart and intelligent mean the same thing. They don't. I explained this. Intelligent means having the ability to learn easily and quickly. Being smart means *having* learned, regardless of how long or how much effort it took. I know some smart people who aren't particularly intelligent, but they have excellent work habits and over time they acquired a lot of knowledge. I know intelligent people who aren't very smart because they're intellectually lazy. I think George W. Bush was one such. He is actually reasonably well above average in intelligence, but because he's lazy and not curious about anything, he never applied his intelligence and so never learned much - he's not smart. You, of course, are neither. As usual you're just plain wrong. I'm right. Smart refers to someone that learns quickly and easily. Nope; that's intelligent. Smart means *having* learned. |
