That's good to hear. I have mine at 11. I was in the online queue for one of the
state megasites yesterday. They have been opening it up for online appointments
a few days a week. I tried three times before, there were 17K to 32K people ahead
of me for about 1K appointments. But yesterday, there were 24K ahead for 15K
appointments. That's a big improvement. They are doing this 3 times a week.
Who knows how many there will be next time. That is the only state megasite
that's doing it that way. The others mostly have online registration via their
own tool, don't call us we'll call you. Or they just use the NJ state registration
sign up. The megasite above, has their own registration, they are doing the online,
real-time thing and I guess you could wind up there via the state registration too.
It's all one big hot mess. I just got lucky with the county health dept. I'm still
in about 7 other places, we'll see when and if they get back to me. There is
no way to remove yourself, so we'll see.

a rational, uniform system for the country. Remember in spring when he
held that news conference and told the whopping lies about Google having
2500 engineers working on a website? A website that all Americans
could access and that would direct them to a Covid testing facility,
where anyone that wanted a test could get one? All a total fabrication,
it was immediately denied by Google. Just imagine if instead he had
actually done something like that, to get a website that all states and

4 months of first vaccine availability. What will it take to meet that?

2 - We have 6 vaccine candidates, we don't know which ones will be
successful, so let's have plans in place, the equipment needed, facilities,
to put any of the 6 into volume production to meet that. What will it
take? Make sure the eqpt is available, use DPA as needed.

3 - Have a national website for easy vaccine registration, get people
to register starting in September.

Be sure you cancel the rest of them. Part of the gridlock problem is
people slamming every available server requesting an appointment for
one shot. Then they don't show up and the vaccine might be wasted.

don't appear to be waiting very long, they notify way more people than

have vaccine for. You would think that once they notified you via text

they would tell you that they have a spot available, you need to now

the appointment by midnight tomorrow. Instead, a friend of mine got
notified from one of the 6 NJ state megasites that he registered with
via
email around 8PM. They said they had appointments available,
gave him a code to go online and make one. By the time he saw the
email and got to the website,
it was 75 mins later. He filled out the questionare for the appointment,
at the end it said, sorry, no more appointments available, nothing about
what to do next.

Now next thing, you'd think that once selected, you should be at the top
of the list when they get vaccine. But it's been about a week and he's
heard nothing more, so it looks like you go back into the big pool with
everyone else. He's 76, pre-existing conditions, so he's clearly in the
active pool. So, it's one big cluster f***. Fortunately for him, he got
lucky and heard by word of mouth to try a county near him in NC
where he lives part time. He got through by phone and got the vaccine.

So I'll see when and if I get contacted by the 7 other places I'm
registered
with. All this is govt incompetence, both from the Trump administration
and
the states. They had 9 months to get this right, to have people register
starting in Sept or Oct., to have websites and phone banks that could
handle it, to do it by first letter of your last name to avoid a rush,
etc.
But the US has fallen badly and can't get up. We have the death numbers
to prove it. As I've said before, where were the plans to quickly bring
up
more lines to make any of the six vaccines that panned out? We should
be hearing that there will be new lines producing the two vaccines
coming on line next month, etc. Instead that dope Trump refused an
offer from Pfizer to play more orders, Biden had to do it, that vaccine
isn't coming until summer. There should have been plans to replicate
any of the 6 vaccine lines to make enough to get 80% of Americans
vaccinated in 6 months. Make sure the equipment is available, use
