The Novavax jab is the first to show in trials that it is effective
against the new virus variant found in the UK, the BBC's medical editor Fergus Walsh said. The UK has secured 60 million doses of the jab, which will be made in Stockton-on-Tees in north-east England. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-55850352 |

This virus is not standing still long enough for the original vaccine to keep up. |

That's bull****. In fact we have more and more evidence that the best vaccines in fact give more immunity than an infection with the virus itself and that only a microscopic number of people might have got infected more than once now that we know that quite literally tens of millions have been infected now. This virus is not standing still long enough for the original vaccine to keep up. That's bull**** too. There is no evidence that the current viruses don't work with the latest mutations. |

This virus is not standing still long enough for the original vaccine to keep up. That is something that happens when virus's are allowed to grow wildly. The more cases there are, the more mutations there will be. |

The more cases there are, the more mutations there will be. Viruses are like any other type of life. They mutate when they are stressed. Unfortunately they are much better and faster than Polar Bears. Anyway, I don't see us eliminating Covid on the whole planet very soon, particularly since it seems to have moved into the 3d world where health care is minimal. Hence I think this covid shot is going to be like the flu shot. These drug companies are not going to build $100 million worth of infrastructure for a one time event. |

This virus is not standing still long enough for the original vaccine to keep up. That is something that happens when virus's are allowed to grow wildly. The more cases there are, the more mutations there will be. Viruses are like any other type of life. Wrong, as always. They mutate when they are stressed. Plenty of viruses mutate without any stress. And others like smallpox hardly mutate at all over centurys even when severely stressed. Unfortunately they are much better and faster than Polar Bears. That's wrong too with smallpox. Anyway, I don't see us eliminating Covid on the whole planet very soon, But SARS did die out. particularly since it seems to have moved into the 3d world where health care is minimal. Just as true of SARS. Hence I think this covid shot is going to be like the flu shot. But then you never did have a ****ing clue. These drug companies are not going to build $100 million worth of infrastructure for a one time event. That's mindless bull**** too and it isnt just the drug companys doing vaccines anyway. |
