Cough! *POINT-THREE-INCHES?

I've heard of "slop" before, but isn't that taking it to extremes?

(or were you working in millimeters?)

Damn, another typo. Just interchanget the decimal point and the
leading zero.

The typo shows you don't pay attention to detail. Even at .030, where
I gave you the benefit of the doubt, you have already shown you don't
know what's required to do tight tolerance aerospace work.

Just comply with MIL-TFP-41.

Tolerance information is now embedded with the solid model on newer
aerospace parts. No prints.

That was an insider joke to see if you'd get it. It stands for

Make It Like The Friggin Print For Once.

Perhaps it's better known among draftsmen and assemblers than
machinists.

Join me in the modern world with all of its problems and tons of
bull**** it's still often better than dealing with old Solar Turbine
prints. ;)

http://www.qualitymag.com/articles/8...sed-definition

"Increasing numbers of aerospace manufacturers are benefiting from
model-based definition's quality assurance processes.

Model based definition (MBD) is not a new concept in the aerospace
manufacturing industry. While it has been applied to product
definition and manufacturing for years, its use as a fully implemented
process for quality control only has been realized recently. Many
companies are modernizing quality assurance processes to embrace MBD
because aerospace's prime manufacturers are demanding it. Advancements
in both software and hardware technologies are making it easier to put
all the key elements in place, giving aerospace manufacturers the last
piece of the puzzle for an enterprise wide system of digital product
definition."

That's so silly its funny! When did LinkedIn - which is basically a
social site with "friends" - constitute a "resume"?

Give us all a list of prior employers we can _actually_ check with to
verify your people skills. I commented on your lack of people skills,
not your lack of skill at posting _claims_ of your CNC accomplishments.

BTW, When did I ever post anything claiming I was an expert at any aspect
of machining? You claim it all the time. That, alone, is the 'smoke' of
posing. All claims. No jobs you can cite.

Ayn Rand worshiper Alan Greenspan gets a dose of reality he can't

I bet Alan Greenspan never forgot getting his ass handed to him like
Bernie Sanders handed it to him. History has now shown us beyond a

Filtering is much more fun. They still think they have an audience
when they don't.

Trolls don't live on eating our responses, they live purely on ego.(not
that anything anyone could say would ever reduce their intake...)

Think about it. Wouldn't feeding 'em be a function of YOUR ego? Any
response gives them more fodder. Just like voting gives DC
inspiration. I'm still holding out for a None of the Above button on
my ballots.

I've moved on to wanting "You've got to be kidding!" and "No way in
hell will I vote for any of these fools!!!" choices on ballots.

If Michael Terrell's name was on the ballot both would be appropriate
choices.

Yawn. Why would I want to lower myself to your level, just so I
could run for office? I DID keep one ass from being re-elected back in
the '80s. I took him to court for 'Conversion of Property' and got a
settlement. 'Conversion of Property' is theft by a politician. They
can't even be honest enough to call it theft. Come to think of it, you
should run for president. Of Somalia.

I bet they have better roofs in Somalia and that don't leak like yours
does. Suggest you move there and see what they know that you don't.

Suggest you go there and try and learn what you're doing wrong. Expect

A much better question to ask of yourself is what *happened to your

Still wondering where your shop pictures are.

OTOH, Jon, you just demonstrated conclusively that you don't have what it

So, at most, you're just a tech. At least, you're probably just a tech-

That is my opinion of all those who make a Principled Vote for a
third party - they are just voting "Present" indicating that they're
good with whatever the majority decides. Left, Right - matters not.
They "voted". Usually not to keep the politician who is "wrong" out,
but keep the candidate who is not "pure enough" from getting in.

Question for the gun Control advocates, "Do you agree with
this statement?"
"I would rather have a society without guns, even if it
means that people cannot defend themselves against murder
(with other weapons), rape, robbery, and assault. I would
rather make everyone defenseless than have to endure the
mass shootings that occasionally occur. If that means that
many more people, (particularly the old, the weak, and the
infirm) are subjected to these violent crimes, then so be
it. They'll just have to suffer more. I do claim the power
to dictate whether or not others are able to defend themselves."

Or they were so high that they were just happy they found their
voting precinct while it was still open? Just wait till they realize
there will be no more Twinkies.

Also, a programmer has no "feel" for the material's properties, nor can
