Try actually reading these articles.

http://www.breitbart.com/article.php...ow_article= 1

``The drop wiped out gains seen a day earlier on hopes that US
president-elect Barack Obama will get to work on fixing the world's
largest economy in the face of the worst financial crisis in
decades. ''

In other words, the hopes that Barack Obama will fix the economy
started the day higher. So "investors" were hopeful of good things.

Then the news came that the Bush'McCain recession is continuing in
full swing, and therefore, the market dropped.

http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?p...efer=worldwide

``The report by ADP Employer Services showed companies cut 157,000
jobs in October, the most since November 2002 when the U.S. was
emerging from a recession. The Institute for Supply Management said
service industries in the U.S., which make up 90 percent of the
economy, contracted by the most on record. ''

So, again, the market is realizing the depths of this Republican
recession.

Q: What happens when you elect thieves and morons to have unfettered access
to the levers of power?
A: Investors see the crapstorm coming at them.

I think that we are in the middle of the crapstorm already.

Pray for the US economy - because only God can help save it from the stupid
and corrupt politicians.

Something we had to learn the hard way in the last 8 years.

I think that it is dangerous to hamper your understanding of reality
by listening to propaganda news sources like FOX news. For example, it
may make you think that the end of the world is coming because Obama
is elected. That may make you avoid buying stocks, for example.

In fact, now is a good time to buy them and a reasonably conservative
estimate would expect approximately 10% returns (with dividends
reinvested) in the coming decade. Stocks are quite cheap now.

i

And for our international friends, are y'all starting to see that when the
USA catches a cold, the rest of the world sneezes?

Suddenly, in 2 days, all responsibility for the market collapse has become
Barack Obamas? I mean really - it's only been 2 days since we voted out those
thieves and morons you love so much that caused this mess.

Sorry to correct you but the powers that be for this recession are Bush and
a Democrat house and senate. The Dimocraps made big promises on the
previous election and didn't deliver, what makes you think they are going to
do better this time? They told us they would do something about gas prices
and the prices doubled, is that what you consider good? Obama got many of
his votes from first time voters because they haven't been suckered by the
Dimocraps before.

Franklin Raines - CEO of big GSE is also economic adviser to B. Hussein
Obama.

The "conservatives" made a halfass warning about reforming the insane policy
of GSE's forcing banks to loan to people who can't make payments .

"free money" for housing drove real estate prices to crazy levels.

Useless loans got repackaged as derivatives and resold as something " having
value".

And then the laws of nature caught up with this big mess.

Stupid me - I bought a house I could afford and made payments ontime.
Now my taxes have to clean up the mess made by those thieving crooks and
incompetent boobs.

And don't be blamin Iraq and Afghanistan - in addition to TRYING to take the
fight to the Islamists, that's a big jobs program for soldiers as far as I

BTW, I am a retired USAF MSgt and my son is in the US Army.

You wish! Truth is you and your buddies that voted in Bush and his
republican congress are very much to blame for the mess we're in right now.
You make it sound like it doesn't matter who gets elected, that it's all the
same. Well, it's not, as you will find out soon. Obama will be very
different from what just passed. Take stem cell research for one thing.
Under Bush it was prevented from getting any federal help at all because of
his religious ideas. Now Obama will reverse that right off the bat.

If you had not elected Bush we would not be in the mess we're in. We didn't
get here by chance. It was due to the choices the Bush administration made
just like the ones Obama makes will determine whether it gets fixed or it
gets worse. But since Bush was such a stinking president, and you thought
would be great, we're in all this trouble. Who gets put in office matters.
You just don't have the guts to own up to having been part of the FUBAR of
all time. Sure Bush and his administration are to blame but so are you and
your son and all the rest of the foolish Americans who though he'd be great
and voted him in office. You're call on Bush was like the Red Sox trading
Babe Ruth to NY. Now it is time to take responsibility for your screw up.
Without people like you none of this stuff would have happened. So own it.
You are to blame. BTW, I voted against Bush, twice. I could see he was an
incompetent boob right from the start. Why couldn't you?

I agree with you that in the end it's the fault of the people who vote
rotten people into office that bear the burden of responsibility when things
go bad. Take the German people. They chose Hitler. They are just as much to
blame for what happened there as he was. They didn't choose wisely. Choosing
Bush was not wise either.

But as for who's responsible for the current mess, it the congress had a
republican majority from 1995 until 2007, and they had the White House for
the last eight years, how could it NOT be their fault? Because if it's not
their fault for this then if Obama and the Democratic majority in congress
bring about disaster that won't be their fault either. I know you will blame
them if they get it wrong too. Bottom line is that if you have all the power
you take all the blame or all the glory. In this case the republicans get
the blame because there is no glory. Saying it was anyone else's fault is
just denial.

Don't really matter where ya lay the blame , politicians from BOTH
major parties were involved in creating this mess . Greed knows no
political boundaries ...
Screw it , I'm gonna go ahead and get another case of 7.62X39R
tomorrow . Because ya just never know when another thousand rounds
might come in handy .

Where'd you find the best deal? I need a spam can of that, too. I
haven't even been out to zero my SKS scope yet. Sheesh!

By the time I pay shipping , it's just as cost-effective to buy locally .
Last time I checked , it was around $200/1000 . Likely twice that since the
election .

I have to make a Medford run sometime soon. (Gettin' low on tools.
I'll check with the larger gun stores there. They had Wolf in 20s the
last time I bought (an ex-RCM friend bought 4 boxes of those for me
and met me at HF), but I think he said they had spam cans of it, too.

Ammoman had it for $139/1k in 2005. It's $249/1k now, delivered.
They're not taking any orders right now because they're 2,000 orders
_behind_ as it is. I wonder if that's because of the election...

That's OK , I got dies , slugs , powder , primers and cases .
Never got around to scoping my SKS , but got bolt guns that can "reach out
and touch someone" . Heh , rockchucks at 400 yds ...

I only have the one rifle (yet) so I scoped it. It's a see-through, so
I can shoot the iron sights if I want, but with my aging eyes, that's
doubtful.

I grabbed 200 rounds this morning for $50. The $249 price on the 1,000
rd box was just too steep and I didn't like the lack of a price break
at all. I'm waiting for him to get the 500 rd half-cases in stock
again. It's out of stock at Sportsman's, Cabelas, Ammoman, and
Midway. Crikey!

That's right. Just look at all the surplus ammo in 8X57, 7.62X54R, and
plenty of other calibers that has been sitting around for decades going bad
because nobody wants it. I'm sure that there are plenty of survivalists who
have stockpiled ammo for years and it'll never be used. In life anything
that you never use becomes something you shouldn't have wasted money on. I
used to think that it would be a good idea to get ready for the big one and
wanted to be prepared to survive. Now it's clear that I'll be dead from
aging way before I need the survival gear set aside for the end of the world
as we know it. All you need is that ammo you will actually use. If you have
more than that you wasted your money.

Whether ammo will go bad depends on how it is stored. I believe that
my ammo is fine since I store it in a dark, cool, dry place. I have
too much, but not to the point of selling. (a few k rounds)

7.62x54R....a much better round, and in the proper arm..can reach out
and touch, long past the point a x39 peters out...or can punch a hole
in something (and whomever is behind it) that bounces a x39

And all the new Wolf ammo is polymer coated so it should last better

That is a link on the signs of deteriorating smokeless gun powder.

I have some 1938 stuff for a straight pull that I've been working up the courage to try. I
may end up just pulling it down and reloading it before firing. I think I have the dies,
may need a new collet for my bullet pulling tool. If only those cases didn't have a
swastica head stamp. Outside of remembering history so it isn't repeated, that symbol and
what it stands for should be relegated to the dust bin of history.

They will blame them if they get it right also. Blame is the only game they
understand.

And easily overcome. One simply steals the other sides guns...whom
ever has the better supply line, and go on.

Now you may steal them from their stocks, or their dead bodies.

Not long ago I fired some WCC 1917 ammo that was found in an attic
with the lads great grandfathers puttees, uniform and 1903
Springfield.

No failures to fire, groups were about 1" bigger than those fired with
WCC 1945 as a test group, and smelled a bit more acidic than other
ammo from the same period Ive fired.

But then, it was found in a California attic...so its not surprising,
due to the heat.
