I agree with you that in the end it's the fault of the people who vote
rotten people into office that bear the burden of responsibility when things
go bad. Take the German people. They chose Hitler. They are just as much to
blame for what happened there as he was. They didn't choose wisely. Choosing
Bush was not wise either.

But as for who's responsible for the current mess, it the congress had a
republican majority from 1995 until 2007, and they had the White House for
the last eight years, how could it NOT be their fault? Because if it's not
their fault for this then if Obama and the Democratic majority in congress
bring about disaster that won't be their fault either. I know you will blame
them if they get it wrong too.

They will blame them if they get it right also. Blame is the only game they
understand.
