Hey Global Warming goofballs, it's 12 frigging degrees here in
Alabamastan at 8:15am and I just heard on the news that there is a
propane shortage in the state because supplies are based on the average
expected need over the past decade of winters. Perhaps the person
responsible for determining the overall needed supplies of propane for
the state is a Global Warming Believer? The lowest temperature here in
Birmingham last year was 21°F. The average Winter low temperature is
33°F here in Birmingham with a normal Winter average of 35°F for the
whole state. So OK you Global Warming nut jobs, what is your
explanation? Make it good, the more deranged, the better. o_O

To validate "climate change" it's useful to look at trends spanning
several hundred years. If so, it appears we are still coming out of the
last ice age.

Global Warming is on the way but there is no /absolute certainty/ the
changes are totally due to human activity. However, since this is a life
or death situation, I think it wise perhaps to err on the side of
caution and NOT ****IN' POLLUTE the planet.

I'm interested in that answer too ! It's up to 4° here from an overnight
low of 2° , and this is the second time so far this year it's gotten this
cold - very unusual for this area . I'll be out in the woods later cutting
more firewood - dry stuff , from downed trees that haven't rotted away yet .
Got a lot of them , both standing and down , no one's been cutting on this
land for at least 20 years or more .

It's been below freezing here everyday for the past week. Currently it
is 8° F (13 C).
Wait til the 'snowbirds' come back from Florida and find the pipes in
their houses have burst. Leaving the thermostat set at 50° won't help
with pipes in outside walls. That insulation works both ways.

Look, I know you think Alabamastan is the entire world, but it isn't.
Even though the annual average global temperature has been quite
near a local maximum for several years, the result of that is
more unstable weather patterns, hence in this year's cold winter.

Why would you expect the temperature in any given location to be
strictly linearly increasing? Climate is a complex system,
more complicated than the stock market. Over the last hundred
years the stock market has trended upward, even though individual
stock prices have gone up and down a quite bit. The average world
temperature has exhibited similar behavior.

The answer is simple. You BOTH demonstrated your ignorance of the difference between weather and climate. Clue: You both cited current weather as an excuse for your climate denial.

Global climatic change has nothing to do with what your temperature is
today, was yesterday or what the average has been over the last decade or
so.

Just out of curiosity, why do you not consider valid the opinions of people
trained in the science and who base their opinions on years of study and
observstions to which you are not privy?

Last year the average global temperature was tied for 4th highest (tied

I'll make this as simple as possible...this is WINTER...the Southern Hemisphere has SUMMER!
Also, look as the extremes in weather we have been having, hurricanes, droughts, flooding, polar vortices...

See Al Gore is making progress on the global warming. He is starting to get
things cooled off..
In a couple of years it will be global cooling that is the problem.

GLOBAL warming. Maybe you don't know what the word "global" means. It's
different from "local", both in space and in time.

You do not have to be a scientist to make this observation.

This humble chemist has been a global warming skeptic for years.

I'm probably one of the few to have read Al Gore's "Earth in the
Balance" and realize that it was just a political polemic.

The whole issue has become politicized by those that like big government
and can profit from it.

Even if global warming was true, there is not much we can do to stop it,
and there are far more problems on earth that demand more attention.

Right again.

Who do climatologists work for?

The answer is government agencies.

Even scientists learn that the best way to get ahead is to go along with
what your bosses want.

Our state climatologist, a professor at the University of Delaware was
roundly denounced by our Democrat government when he said that when
Mother Nature comes along, you have to get out of her way. Wrong answer
for people that want to increase government control of things.

explanation? Make it good, the more deranged, the better. o_O

Only a complete idiot doesn't yet know that it's climate
change, and not global warming. If today is warmer, it's
because of freon in air conditioners. Or, maybe carbon
foot print. If it's colder, that's due to chemicals in spray
cans. In either case, it's all our fault. It means that we
need to tax the rich, stop driving cars, prevent cows from
farting, and stop using air conditioners. Matter of fact,
we've got to stop manufacturing cheimcals, drilling for
petroleum, fracking, or making asphalt roads. We're
killing the planet, and it's all our fault because we
are evil. Everyone get together, we're all going to cry
and then we'll start a movement to ask Al Gore to forgive
us, and sell us carbon offset credits so we can light a
fireplace to help keep warm.

Does wind chill affect how fast the pipes freeze?
I mean, wind chill like today sure feels colder.

Global climatic change has nothing to do with what your temperature is
today, was yesterday or what the average has been over the last decade or
so.

Just out of curiosity, why do you not consider valid the opinions of people
trained in the science and who base their opinions on years of study and
observstions to which you are not privy?

You know, this one was pretty good, too.

Scholarly, quotes the experts, refer to

To validate "climate change" it's useful to look at trends spanning
several hundred years. If so, it appears we are still coming out of
the last ice age.

Global Warming is on the way but there is no /absolute certainty/ the
changes are totally due to human activity. However, since this is a
life or death situation, I think it wise perhaps to err on the side
of caution and NOT ****IN' POLLUTE the planet.

OK, pass a law that prohibits volcanic eruptions which have been on a
rise. A stable climate is actually unusual for our little blue planet.
It only makes good sense not to pollute our environment but there is a
limit when termites produce more greenhouse gas than cow farts and human
activity. It's the 1% elite that the P.L.L.C.F. worship who are leading
their worshipers around by their nose rings and produce more pollution
than anyone with their private jets, limousines and mansions.
Our own Affirmative Action President uses a fleet of huge planes to bop
around the country and the world burning tons of fuel and logging more
air miles than all the other Presidents combined while demanding that
his subjects conserve energy and fuel. Oh yea let the government shut
down power plants while we just pull electrical power out our collective
asses. There has been a slight overall rise in the temperature of our
planet but a Russian scientist, whom the elite save the planet crowd has
ignored, determined that the mean temperature of our neighboring planet
Mars has also experienced the same rise in temperature. The last time I
checked, there were no SUV's or coal fired power plants on on Mars where
most Liberals are from. So the two planets must have one thing in common
that would cause the average temperature to increase.
Hummmm, I wonder what it is? Could it be Al Gore, I know he's from Mars
but I believe he hasn't been back after moving to Earth so there must be
a common cause? o_O

The answer is simple. You BOTH demonstrated your ignorance of the
difference between weather and climate. Clue: You both cited
current weather as an excuse for your climate denial.

Chaos is a normal state for climate on planet Earth. It changes and
there is no trend up or down caused by human activity. The problem is
with the arrogant junk science morons who believe it's all modern man's
fault that the climate is changing and use that as an excuse to point
guns at our heads so they can take our money and stuff. o_O

I'm not a scientist , but I can observe what's going on . Little
things like cherry-picking data to support a conclusion ,
falsifying data to support your conclusions , etc . And GW
"scientists" have been caught doing both . Follow the money ...

You do not have to be a scientist to make this observation.

This humble chemist has been a global warming skeptic for years.

I'm probably one of the few to have read Al Gore's "Earth in the
Balance" and realize that it was just a political polemic.

The whole issue has become politicized by those that like big
government and can profit from it.

Even if global warming was true, there is not much we can do to stop
it, and there are far more problems on earth that demand more
attention.

Why has the temperature been rising at the same rate as it has for
Earth? Humm, must be a common cause? o_O
