So is *anything* that happens. No matter what happens, hot/cold, wet/dry,
hurricanes/calm, it's the expected symptoms of global warming.

OK, Mr. Global Climate Change Denier, I say let's have this conversation
in, oh, 5 years, after all doubt has been removed (and we're even closer
to, or past, the "tipping point").

Until then, it's you, Fox News and (most of) the Repugnant Party that's
in the minority against an overwhelming consensus of scientific opinion
(or what the deniers call "bullying").

Hell, even our previous Governator, Ahnold S., was convinced of
anthropogenic climate change. You haven't got much of a leg to stand on
here.

Hi,
I wonder what they are saying, those fundamental Christians in Kansas.
Did they say anything some thing like it is god's punishment?

Aparently, that's the liberal mindset. Any time the

How were these blizzards rated worse? one said in 1899 it came with no
warning, well back then there were no weather satellites and no
national weather service.

if they were rated as worst for death rate all our modern stuff helps
to minimize deaths.

my take on global warming, when you dont totally understand such a
serious hazard its best to respect it and avoid making it worse.....

the people who dont believe in global warming have a wait till its
terrible past tipping point approach.

this isnt smart, imagine the costs to evacuate the coast lines and
islands world wide if the ocean level rises more.....

if you think the budget deficit is bad now just wait till all the
coastal land owners want compensation

Go to any good science museum and look at the tree ring exhibit. Or
Google for the data from ice core samples. They have a pretty good
record of the swings going back a couple thousand years at this point,
at least as it is reflected in tree growth and winter snow deposits.
Trivial example- naming Greenland (aka Vinland) was not entirely a con
job. Vikings hit during a multi-decade heat wave, and it was a lot
greener when they first colonized. Modern records of any reliability
only go back a century or so.

The hysteria being fomented by Liberal, Leftists, Socialists Commiecrats
is a manufactured crisis that those of that ilk want to use to seize
control of the wealth of nations. If "Global Warming", now renamed
"Climate Change" in Newspeak, was a real crisis, sensible people would
get involved to address the problem without destroying the economies of
first world nations in order to confiscate their wealth and give it to
third world nations. Climate changes, it's a force of nature and anyone
who thinks man controls The Earth is a complete idiot. The control of
pollution makes sense because it's silly to muck up where you live and
to poison the environment. Unfortunately, Commiecrats would have us wear
catalytic converter underwear and CO2 absorbing face masks in order to
protect Gaia from the toxic greenhouse gasses that we humans
are guilty of destroying the planet with.

Scientific evidence is like The Bible, there are many different
interpretations and the scientific method will always get thrown
out the window when money is involved. The political beliefs of
those holding the purse strings determine which course research
takes.

Normal rational people know that.

I am entertained by the nightly news.

there was global warming/cooling back then, but it just didn't have AlGore

A little perspective for those in the Northeast and sick of
snow. http://tinyurl.com/4lufyy8

So, how's all that global warming working for you?

Weather extremes are expected symptoms.

Normal rational people know that.

I am entertained by the nightly news.

"Here today in Midlothian, we had a high of 72 and a low of 51. The
record for this date was a high of 127 in 1931, and -9 degrees in
1943." I guess there was global warming/cooling back then, but it
just didn't have AlGore yet to hype it.

For us here in north west Alabama, it's not working well at all. This
is the coldest/snowiest winter anyone can remember for the past 35
years. I'm ready for global warming to kick in. The sooner the
better.

Any weather condition is an expected symptom of G.W. That way they
are always right. Just more junk science from the Carl Sagan crowd.

Actually, I don't doubt G.W. I just doubt that it is caused by and
controllable by man. Given that there have been several cycles of
warming/cooling in the past few million years, long before humans were
on the planet, I think that's a reasonable conclusion. The last cycle
of G.W. started 25k years ago and caused the demise of the last
ice-age which has allowed mankind to move out of their caves.

So is *anything* that happens. No matter what happens, hot/cold,
wet/dry,
hurricanes/calm, it's the expected symptoms of global warming.

OK, Mr. Global Climate Change Denier, I say let's have this conversation
in, oh, 5 years, after all doubt has been removed (and we're even closer
to, or past, the "tipping point").

Until then, it's you, Fox News and (most of) the Repugnant Party that's in
the minority against an overwhelming consensus of scientific opinion (or
what the deniers call "bullying").

Hell, even our previous Governator, Ahnold S., was convinced of
anthropogenic climate change. You haven't got much of a leg to stand on
here.

" in the minority against an overwhelming consensus of scientific opinion "

Consensus of opinion, scientific of not is NOT science. Galileo was
imprisoned because he thought the world was round, against all
consensus of scientific opinion.

Second, this consensus of opinion is a myth. It is the other way
around.

Of course there is global warming, otherwise we would still be
in the ice age. I happen to think that is good.

My favorite was a couple of years ago when they predicted a really bad
hurricane season and just about nothing happened. Turned out THAT, too
was the result global warming kicking up sand storms in Africa and the
dust particles had some kind of effect on hurricane formation. So, if
climate change can be used to justify both a prediction AND the
prediction not coming true....
