Why?

Lew's gone and dropped it a day late and a dollar short?

Not really.

Actually it's very simple.

Have you noticed cross postings have almost disappeared?

There was a method to the madness of posting approximately
60 empty posts.

Each started life as a cross list posted message.

My response was straight forward.

I simply edited all list headings except "rec.woodworking"
and then edited out all the contents and posted what was left.

It took awhile, but after 2-1/2 days and almost 60 "corrective"
posts, cross posting seems to have gone away.

I was quite certain that's what Lew was doing, but I don't understand why he
included perfectly acceptable posts, just because they were cross posted.
Cross posting can get out of hand, but it is an acceptable manner of posting
if properly disiplined.

While it appears to have partially worked, isn't it just easier to kill

Who the **** are you? You don't post any woodworking comments. Do you
ever actually cut a wood once in awhile?

Do you own *any* tools other than the screwdriver that you
accidentally shoved up your ass?

google Fadal 3016L, Haas GR-510, then ax me if I own any tools.
Yeah, I cut wood, and btw, I set up a fairly sophisticated program to mill
fairly sophisticated boxes/lids, with the box part held rigidly together
with no screws, no glue, *nothing but four 3/32 pins*.

If you can even come CLOSE to figgering out how a box ( approx 1 ft x 1 ft x
4" high, 1/2" material, 1/8" bottom) can be held rigidly together like this,
I'll blow you in Times Square, NYC, on New Year's eve, right where they drop
the New Years ball.

Now, a woodworking asshole (like, well, TiredAss or Hodgett) might bleat,
Oh, Oh, Oh, you cain't mill wood in a metal machine, without a 20,000 rpm
spindle.....
Sure you can, dumb****, if you know WTF you are doing..... you just gotta
do it a little slower. Very nice finish, as well.

In the meantime, you'd proly be much better off blowing me, cuz no doubt you
could use the brain food. And fort'ly for you I take plenty of vitamins.

The last person who tried to blow you complained you only had a 2"
dick. You're just not worth the effort.

And, by the way. *ANYBODY* can say they've got great tools. In your
case, you have yet to demonstrate *ANY* woodworking knowledge or
woodworking solutions to many of the questions posted on the rec.

Until you do that, you're full of ****.

So I gather you couldn't solve the box problem. No surprise.

No, you asked if I "ever cut wood.once in a while", and I told you what I've
done -- complex cnc milling of wood, and also engraving. Never claimed to
be a woodworker, tho.
But now that you are losing your own argument, you change the argument -- so
typical of blowhards.

So about that box design..... still struggling??
You're so oblivious to design -- wood or otherwise -- you don't even
recognize the significance of being able to *pin* wood together in a stable,
rigid way.

See what you've done? Now you'n'yer inbred family won't get to see the
Rockettes fer Christmas.
And sheeit, while you were here, I'da sprung for a dentist for you
hillbillies, as well. Really, you shouldna put Mountain Dew in the kids'
bottles for all those years....

Figures. Consider that you don't contribute knowledge, solutions or
reasonable advice on any woodworking, CNC or craft topic. Guess that
means you're here to troll. Which is confirmed by your frequent use of
profanity and insulting language.

Swearing and insulting people is often needed and certainly a
desirable trait here on the rec. Doing it all the time, every time
means that you just don't know any better.

Makes you pretty damned worthless doesn't it?

I understand your goal but not your methodology. Doing what you did removes
cross posting but only from messages in reply to your empty one and empty
messages won't create many responses; any reply to other messages will be
cross posted (if the message one is replying to was cross posted).

To accomplish your goal for you personally, it would be easier to either
block the sender or set up a rule to block the cross posted newsgroup(s).
Doing the latter would mean that you couldn't read that newsgroup without
deleting the rule.

You thought the Sawstop threads were trolling?? Proly you just got ****ed
cuz you have no idea how to calculate required forces, using basic laws of
newton.

Swearing and insulting people is often needed and certainly a

Wrong again. Once a wad, always a wad, generally requiring the same
treatment.
However, not everyone here is a wad, and you will see that I respond only in
kind, and always demonstrate respect for knowledge, be it here, rcm, ahr,
wherever.

It's just that itsa a little harder to show respect to knowledgeable
assholes, but even then I try.

Makes you pretty damned worthless doesn't it?

No, you just continually prove yourself to be virtually incoherent and
totally disingenuous, to suit the bevies of neurotic hidden agendas you
have. You have the territoriality of ants in an ant hill -- and pretty much
their brains.

Me worthless? Come to NYC, see my shop..... and my dick....
Hey, you can park your Winnebago in my shop, no charge.... But don't touch
the RAS, you might hurt yourself -- no SawStop, donchaknow....

Oh, I got plenty of kneepads, but no worry, no doubt Dave Le Douche is a
preemie.... Proly part of the reason he's such a li'l bitch in general.
Oh, I forgot to mention, ahm REALLY GQ-good-looking, so Dave will proly bust
his 1/2 cc wad before he gets his zipper undone.

Oh, but one minor detail -- heh, it appears YOU cain't read too good
either -- he didn't figger out the config of the box.... Consistent with
someone who thinks I was trolling in the sawstop stuff, just cuz he couldn't
follow/figure out the numbers.
So, no figgie-outtie, no blow job.

Heh, I thought you fagits were all pantie-bunched about profanity,
vulgarity, and here y'all are, quite keeping up, including that
mega-hypocrite (and trannie??? proly ) TiredAss.... hilarious.....
