That doesn't surprise me too much that you'd get the odd doctor doing
that because of the way the US health care system puts it's priorities
on making money first.
The UK has the opposite approach. Yes it is a socialist method, but our
Conservative government supports it because it helps everyone and
emphasis is on the patients care rather than greedy health companies.

Yes, I was tested.

I recalled a woman being hospitalized and they said covid but her
husband insisted she be tested and it finally turned out she had
Legionnaires disease.

All I had was a sinus infection that was treated with antibiotics.

Then, I think you are good to go if the test was positive. If not you
never had it.

What I've read is that the vaccine gives a person about 5X the number of
antibodies that you'd typically have after recovering from an infection,
and the vaccine will help you against multiple variants whereas the
homegrown antibodies might only protect against the one specific variant
that you had.

Thus, the advice that I've seen is that if you've had Covid and recovered
from it, you should still get the vaccine.

Gets odd as a friend that was vaccinated had to get tested before he
went in for angiography.

Not odd. None of the vaccines are 100% effective.

Would a real doctor diagnose covid with using a RT-PCR test with a Ct of

That's mindless bull****. There might just be a reason
masks are used by medical professionals and others
testing for the virus and treating the infected.

Medical staff wear them because "a little" protection is
better than none. They change their masks often, use high quality
masks, and are mostly vaccinated now,
20% protection (with a plain cloth mask) from catching the
disease is "little protection" on my scale. 80% protection against
passing it to others is "a lot of protection".
Your scale may vary.

Correct. Our ambulance driver caught COVID, later had his TWO
vaccines and died anyway. P2 variant.
Vaccines DO protect up to 90% of people. He was just unlucky,

Thus, the advice that I've seen is that if you've had Covid and recovered

No, that would be a negative. He'd ask for a IgG antibody test
and compare it with another 10-14 days later. Greatly increased values
== a confirmed case.
False-negative PCR tests are the norm, not the exception.
But there are very few false positives.

The kind we have been talking about all along and you said doesn't

Right, the kind you and the rightie loons been talking about, the kind that falsify

evidence. What we have instead are nonsensical internet stories like the above.
Perhaps the belief that medical professionals regularly falsify records is a

Good for you. My long time friend fought and lost. His widow was
devastated. He is one of 600,000 that did not do well.

I'm not that individual who passed away, either. My health issues are
not the same as his, therefore, I don't wear masks.

I chose vaccination.

I choose to NOT take experimental shots. I'd rather wait to see how all
the guinea pigs fair in the next several years after having been
experimented upon.

Please cite for us all the vaccines where some serious side effects only
emerged years after vaccination. Or cite for us where *any* negative side
effects emerged years later. We've been vaccinating for over a hundred years,
so that should be easy. The only one I've heard about was where the shyster
doctor in the UK falsified data and claimed that the MMR vaccine was causing
autism. Many subsequent investigations around the world found no correlation,
the article was removed from the journal, the doctor lost his license. Sadly though
it's still fertile material for the cult of anti-vax fools.

Is that what her church teaches, is that what Jesus would do? Screw everyone
else, I don't care about their health or what happens to them, I don't care if I

Were you tested or did somebody just say so?Â* If half million died
there must have been maybe fifty million that survived?

Yes, I was tested.

I recalled a woman being hospitalized and they said covid but her
husband insisted she be tested and it finally turned out she had
Legionnaires disease.

All I had was a sinus infection that was treated with antibiotics.

Then, I think you are good to go if the test was positive.Â* If not you
never had it.

Gets odd as a friend that was vaccinated had to get tested before he
went in for angiography.

Breakthrough cases, dontcha know.

All the medical community is vaccinated but still takes all precautions.
I just came from the eye doctor and all of us were masked and all
vaccinated.

What I've read is that the vaccine gives a person about 5X the number of
antibodies that you'd typically have after recovering from an infection,
and the vaccine will help you against multiple variants whereas the
homegrown antibodies might only protect against the one specific variant
that you had.

Correct. Our ambulance driver caught COVID, later had his TWO
vaccines and died anyway. P2 variant.
Vaccines DO protect up to 90% of people. He was just unlucky,
rather, stupid. He went to a Bolsonaro "free-meat free-booze
no-masks-allowed" party. His mother died too. He passed it to her.

Thus, the advice that I've seen is that if you've had Covid and recovered
from it, you should still get the vaccine.

Correct.

Not odd. None of the vaccines are 100% effective.

Correct. Nice to see SOMEONE doesn't believe in #FAKE_NEWS.

Thanks, I appreciate that. Good to know that the MSM is still telling it
like it is over here.

Not surprising, considering your refusal to wear a mask. I
wonder how many people you intentionally infected?
Do you keep a tally?

I had a sinus infection. They said it was covid. I was tired for a
little while, but then again a sinus infection is something I get at
least once a year when the weather changes. Every time I get a sinus
infection I feel tired for a while.

Did I really have covid? They said I did. Many people have had
similar issues during cold and flu season. I didn't get the flu,
though ... no other symptoms, either.

and so did several other people I know. My body fought
it off like it does most viruses.

So did our ambulance driver. It was a fairly harmless strain.
He died the second time round though. P2, that's nasty.

I'm still here, and will be here until I'm not. That's life.

Carry on not using a mask, and tell us all about it. You can
post even when you're on a respirator.

Yeah, my dentist requires masks...

The city had its first Downtown Tonight yesterday since 2019. It's in a
park along the river, with a band and food trucks every Thursday night.
I concluded everybody in town is fully vaccinated since I only saw a
mask on one elderly woman.

The lines at the food trucks were long with one puzzling exception. The
Big Dipper is a local ice cream store that has a truck. I could walk
right up and get a scoop of huckleberry ice cream. Since the temperature
was close to 90 it tasted pretty good.

The one man band sucked. The Thursday night slot has always been b-list
performers trying to work their way up to a slot at the Wednesday noon
time event but this guy was outstandingly bad.
