AS I said, not one of those sites says 'paver'

except ebay, and ebay as a source of correctly spelled words? Purlease?

pavior
Pronunciation: /ˈpÄvyÉ™r/
(also British paviour)
noun
1A paving stone.
Example sentences
1.1A person who lays paving stones.

Where is the word 'paver' mentioned?

All of the above says 'paving'.

I Googled Block Pavers and that was the result.
Equally, where does it mention paviors?

In my link. Where they speak English not French. We typically ad "er" to the end of a word when it does something. The bricks pave the driveway, so they are called pavers.

About 90% of the cost is in the stuff under the road/pavement not in the

Yeah, particularly the little pillars at the

I'm not even sure if the flags are actually concrete, they are

That's a bit better.

Fine if you want your place to look like a council house.

Most of ours have grass or dirt between.

It's not a council house.

Neither are plenty of ours, but that is what the council provides
with our council houses, at least the houses that have their own
block of land. The higher density council housing usually has
poured concrete, just like all the non council blocks of flats etc.

She was most impressed when I put in my monoblock (mainly because it has

More fool her. Poured concrete over the entire driveway
requires no maintenance what so ever weeds wise.

twin strips of concrete driveway I could find easily.

Er, yes. Plain cheap ugly slabs of concrete is for council estates.
Compare these two:

That bog standard herringbone pattern is the one the local councils
are
putting on tenants drives around here.

Typical council wasting money.

They do it because its cheaper!

About 90% of the cost is in the stuff under the road/pavement not in
the
covering.

Then why the **** does anyone ever used grey plain paving slabs?

Because they are too stupid to pour concrete.

But if monoblock is the same price,

It never is. It is MUCH more expensive because it is MUCH more labour
intensive.

do that, it looks nicer.

Looks chavvy and is a lot more work to get rid of the weeds and to clean.

Don't need to do a damned thing with poured concrete done properly,
at most hose the dirt off it if you park on it with muddy tires etc.

It has been down for about 5 years and always looked fine up to now.
Does anybody know if patio cleaner really works?

You jet washed it with washing up liquid?????

FFS! Jet washers dilute detergents to about 3%

That won't have any effect whatsoever, other than creating a lot of bubbles! And if not rinsed off thoroughly it can leave a residue that attracts dirt.

General rule; Use washing up liquid for washing up, not patios.

Nonsense. There's less of them than monoblock.

A jetwash washes by brute force, no chemicals are necessary. It should take anything off a driveway all by itself.

True enough, although a pre spray can speed the job up. But not washing
up liquid!

There are an awful lot of halfwits on Google in that case.

An awful lot.
Patio cleaner?

I assumed that you had used that for washing your dishes.

Washing up liquid is for common people. Dishwasher tablets and one press of
a button is all I need to do the dishes.

His house is too small for a dishwasher.

The Vicar smiles, leans forward sucking air through his teeth and mutters:
"Too late pal, I've already done the paperwork"
