I don't have a cite, I was born on an Air Force base, both parents citizens, and I have naturalization papers. It may just be a process of verifying a foreign birth to US citizens. I'm not challenging you, just curious. The current forms for this situation are the: Consular Report of Birth Abroad of a Citizen of the USA - FS 240 Certification of Birth Abroad - FS 545 I can't say what was going on in the 50s. Sue Apparently Mr. Obama can't either. I think if I were an intelligent white woman with a son of mixed race and multicultural background, I'd make sure that kid was documented as a U.S. citizen. |

And you were born where? Did your parents get you naturalized or otherwise documented? Obama was born in Hawaii, which is every bit as much a part of the United States as is Kansas. |

No, his mother appeared in Hawaii with a newborn kid and proclaimed "Hey, look what *just* popped out!" According to the official record, he could have been born on Pluto. Most of us can produce a birth certificate. Obama apparently can't. |

I am the first person in my line of descent to have been born in a hospital. My father and all his siblings were born at home, in rural Pennsylvania, between 1913 and 1931. I doubt that any of them can produce a birth certificate. Obama apparently can't. Garbage. He has already done so; you can see an image he http://msgboard.snopes.com/politics/graphics/birth.jpg The full story, which hopefully will cure your delusions, can be found he http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama...ertificate.asp This stuff is *not* hard to find. One must assume that you are either deliberately spreading falsehoods, or have chosen to remain ignorant. |

LOL, snopes must think you are stupid and can't see the 2007 on the other side of the laser paper. Maybe snopes can investigate what year the laser printer was invented. |

What I got was NOT a duplicate of the original from the hospital, which I have and is what was given to my parents in 1949. What I got is a notarized printout from microfiche of the official county record. I don't know what the watermark of the paper is, but it's probably from '04. Do you really think official records are still endless file cabinets of paper documents? David |

They were supposed to photocopy it, for my records. instead, they copied it by hand, and over half the information is wrong, including two of my mother's names. Try to get a mess like cleared up, some time. -- You can't have a sense of humor, if you have no sense! |

It does not prove where you were born, or which hospital you were born in, or who delivered you like your official birth certificate does. It just proves you were born. Have you tried running for President with your passport? |
