It is a really bad theory. Woaah there Pilgrim! That's a stunning admission. You just pick and choose which parts of the fairy tale you believe? If the very important part about how the earth, animals and man came to be, what does that say about the rest of the story? But those that do are not harming anyone. They do if they try to drive that agenda into the schools. And even if that belief that's based on fairy tales doesn't lead to bad things, it doesn't mean that believing in religions based on fairy tales can't lead to very bad things. Those muslim extremists come to mind. They claim what they are doing is based on their religious beliefs, which are grounded in just as much fact as the bible. They just have a hard time wrapping their minds around something so infinite a the creation. But, then again, since all of today's truths in science are tomorrows falsehoods, although a better theory, Evolution will be replaced with an even better theory in a few hundred years, if not sooner. The field is very exciting and a lot of things are left to be discovered. On the other hand, the Global Warning theists are harming folks as they want your freedom and are acting like a bunch of fascists, not scientists. Figures you'd drag something like that in. This is what is Christian tenant on the creation: "We believe in one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven and earth, of all that is, seen and unseen." --Nicene Creed. And yes, that included Evolution, if that is what he actually used as a mechanism. He ain't saying because that is not what he expects from us. Science actually continues to disprove god and the bible. The earth being just a few thousand years old, wrong. Man, aninmals, dinosaurs all created in a week, wrong. Not one fact in there that's later determined to be correct, eg nothing about the earth revolving around the sun, nothing about the size of the earth, the distance to the moon. Now if the bible contained something like "gold will one day be known by the number 79, why then you'd have something. Instead, you have the opposite, it's all wrong. |

And every one of them belongs in a secular prison. I do not know the exact number, but the Catholics have had a bad issue with this since they have established the homosexual priest hood after they left the apostolic church in the 12th century. The married priest hood is biblical. But they choose not to follow it and are paying the price. I went to catholic school and thought a lot of the priests were a bit "weird" and "creepy". Now I know why. Glad I did not at the time. I had a strong, somewhat crazy father, so they stayed clear of me. The nuns were the meanest women I have ever met. (Orthodox nuns are really sweet and glow with the Lord's love. I was scared of them at first.) Homosexual priests are strictly forbidden in the apostolic priesthood. If our catholic brother and sisters in Christ ever decide to swallow their pride over this issue, we Orthodox will gladly re-teach them. |

I've never heard someone talk so fast and not come up for air . One word.....specious. Simon is a complete blow hard.Â* I though the video was extremely informative. Â* Beware of fast talking salesmen. One in 50 priests is a pervert, says Pope metro.co.uk €º News €º Pope Francis 13 Jul 2014 - Pope Francis called the roll of shame 'a leprosy in our house' as he admitted the Catholic Church was riddled with thousands of paedophile ... And every one of them belongs in a secular prison. But what did the catholic church do for decades instead? Protected them. When allegations arose, they moved priests they knew were pedophiles to another church so they could do it all over again. I do not know the exact number, but the Catholics have had a bad issue with this since they have established the homosexual priest hood after they left the apostolic church in the 12th century. The married priest hood is biblical. But they choose not to follow it and are paying the price. This is more BS and prejudice. Facts show that most pedophiles are not homosexual. If the catholic church had established a homosexual priest hood, then the priests would be having sex with each other or with other adult males, not with children. Pedophiles have an attraction to children. But the whole sorry story shows how a major religion, one that's supposed to be so moral, upstanding, and loving, didn't give a damn about kids being molested. It was systemic, all the way to the top. |
