It was painstaking research which was blessed by God.

Be patient, your turn will come.

Diabetes or death? The only certainty out of those two is death.
We all will get that. There is also no history of Diabetes in my
family.

That doesn't matter any more. T2 is an injury: carbohydrate
poisoning

I have always had massive amounts of sugar/ salt/ fats etc. Please
explain why I have never had diabetes?

I already did in a prior question from you.

https://www.thoughtco.com/introducti...-curve-3126337

Only 1 in 11 of us get it.

Give up yet?

Again I ask...give up what? If you mean talking about common sense,
then no.

Your anti God fantasy. You keep asking me things
about my religious beliefs to try and prove you are
right about there being no god. At some point you
will have to give up.

We don't get billed for being treated from doctors or hospital

Uhh yeah.

My favorite radio station is Classic FM from your country.
My only complain is that they talk too much. Meaning,
I get to listen to the news from your country. Every
week there is one scandal or another. The elderly
get hit the hardest. If your news is to be believed,
your medical system sucks.

I love the ads for private insurance on Classic FM.

As far as paying doctors, Allopaths in this country
are usually paid by insurance, which is why they
are a good four times as expensive as they should
be, as someone else is paying the bill.

Naturopaths are typically paid by the customer.
When it comes to T2 (and a lot of other things),
their advice in far better than Allopaths.

it has devolved into to you trying to prove to me

And you can't win this one. You might as well give up.

I love those guys. They are the only classical music
station that play what listeners request. Their top
whatever list are wonderful and I love everything on them

They only go wrong when they start with the monkey and
the organ grinder (baroque). I have written them
and complained about it. I asked them if they ever
have had any of those pieces show up on their top
lists. They reform quickly.

But my largest complain is that they talk too much.

Some of your commercials are hysterical. I especially
love the ones for the travel agency "want to get away?"

The deal with the pigs, the wine trick, raising the dead, and the self

No evidence. Hearsay only. For ordinary historical events (let's
say, the burning of the Library of Alexandria), oral evidence is
pretty compelling. Libraries burn all the time, even nowadays.
For magic, I'm afraid the evidence would have to be considerably
stronger.

How about the Transubstantiation?

Not all MDs are like that. I'm confident that mine
will tell me to lay off the carbs (which I already have
done to some extent) when my blood sugar starts rising.

My mother's on Metformin and loads up her shopping cart
with ice cream and other treats. She knows she shouldn't,
but has decided that at her age she's going to eat what

Health insurance in the US is quite costly, especially if it is private
insurance. Medicare for the elderly is far more reasonable, but if you
want total coverage you must subscribe to a supplemental policy in
adition to what Medicare covers. Medicaid is only available for those
living below the poverty level. I don't know what the percentage of
obesity is in the US, but one does seem to see many very overweight
people.

Barber's *Adagio for strings* does it for me.

Pretty slow synapses, but everybody interprets music differently.

Funny. I barely tolerate anything written after the Baroque.

There's a solo harpsichord piece that I love; whenever I hear it,

Indeed, I find Adagio for strings mesmerising and very soothing. Eyes
closed and disappear somewhere into the unknown.
Ideally with a joint :-)

Fred Phelps? Wesley Swift? Charles Taze Russell? Joseph Smith? Aimee

People can't even read the users' manual and figure out how to reset
their clocks and you want them interpreting a complex collection of
works, some metaphorical and some very obscure, and come up with a
coherent theology?

The deal with the pigs, the wine trick, raising the dead, and the self

the Transubstantiation?

It is not magic if it is done by God who created the universe,
unless you don't believe in god.

So invoking supernatural forces isn't magic when a supernatural being
does it? How about intervention by the saints?

You forgot raising Lazarus from the dead. The Roman historical
account said he smelled bad (decomposition).

No, i threw that in after the party trick.

You need a course in Aristotelian philosophy as filtered through Thomas
Aquinas. The essence is changed, the accidents remain the same.

What is a chair? Assuming you have a wooden Adirondack chair where is
the chair? Is it in the accidents? If you are cold and break the chair
up and build a fire, is it still a chair or firewood? For extra points,
after it burns what is it? Was there ever a chair? What was the original
essence of a wafer of unleavened bread?

I think many atheists try to do their darndest to debate their way into
convincing a Christian that God doesn't exist.

Let them prove "love" exists by providing empirical evidence!

And you can't win this one. You might as well give up.
I will still answer any legitimate questions you have.

Not if you know history. Are you familiar with the Red Terror in the
Hungarian Soviet Republic? Or Marx, for that matter. Not having a
Messiah at hand, Jews tend to try to create heaven on earth, no matter
how many have to die.

Did you know there is a Jewish saint in Brazil:

Other than St. Paul, St. John, and St. Mark? iirc Luke was a gentile.
Many of the saints have interesting histories. Christianity is like a
magpie, picking up shiny trinkets as it goes along. Russell's 'The
Germanization of Early Medieval Christianity' is a good description of
what happened when a near-Eastern religion met a heathen culture. There
was considerable give and take. I don't think Christianity ever quite
mellowed out a warrior culture.

Sorry, man. I live in the here and now. I sit on chairs; I don't
contemplate their essence.

After a chair burns, it's carbon and water and CO2 and stuff like that.

Blue pills? Did I miss something in my youth?
Oh, I see a Matrix reference:

Someone who chooses to remain ignorant in order to be happy, much like
those who chose the blue pill in The Matrix.

Well your rambling above is just disturbing sloppy thinking.
After the chair burns we know what it is, ashes.
"Was there ever a chair?" What kind of nonsense is that.
The chair is gone, but it most certainly was a chair before it
was broken.

Aristotle, though often wrong, at least tried to use logic.
Thomas Aquinas not so much.

For example, we have this gem by TA: "reason is found in God".
A good example of sloppy thought meant to confuse.
Sort of like that nonsense about one hand clapping.
We all know one hand doesn't clap, yet some people
insist that thinking about the sound of one hand
clapping is somehow deep. It's just nonsense.

Traffic in nonsense if you must, but it doesn't make
you less boring in my eyes.

So you prefer "Variations on a Well Tempered Sewing Machine"?

:-)

My preferences started when they turned the bows over
and could actually get some sound out of stringed instruments
without having to "saw" at them.

God is a concept to describe something intangible.
The CONCEPT exists. If it makes you feel better, believe...
If your CONCEPT of God leads you to commit acts of violence,
expect resistance...not for your beliefs...for your actions.

I prefer plucked strings to bowed strings, although fiddles are
ok as part of the backup band. I'm with George II on the subject.
