deserves some respect. The real issue is that many of the latest limits
are over the top for the vast majority of any 24 hours. If limits were
more intelligently applied, I suspect they would be more readily observed.

Think we have it round here as well, or at least if you ask the local

Thing is i have never been to the places im accused of being, and on 1 of
the dates i had a car park permit for the hospital with my reg number on it
for an overnight stay i have to do fairly regularly, and i had obtained the
ticket about 20 minutes before i was supposedly 300 miles away doing 34mph
in a 30 zone.

Each time i phone the police up and get them to check if there's a clone of
my car about, they take a day or so to they check the ANPR cameras around
the areas in question for the date, and come back that no car of that reg
number was ever in the area.

One of the officers said that most of the people who do the speed watch
thing are illiterate... he trailed off then so i couldent catch if he said
******s, wazzocks, waste of spaces or similar.

So these ****s are thinking they are doing a good job, the people who are
'speeding' never get told and innocent people get the letters instead, and
then the police have to use up their time checking into the possibility of a
clone car being about.

In a village near here they have one of those scarecrow festivals that
seem to be getting more popular. One that on first glance looked like
a speed gun wielding Policeman probably slowed more people down in the
week it was there than any speeding campaign.
What was worrying was the eyesight of drivers who were flashing
headlamp warnings to oncoming motorists That should worry plod as
well,There was a time when a Policeman in his uniform stood out
distinctively ,now with the trend to wear a uniform that in many
cases seems to try and intimidate by looking like SAS Lite anything
with a bit of Hi Viz, bulky waist coat and a hat can look like them.
If anything the scarecrow looked smarter.
