Probably, but . . . .

The first one will use a soft rubber washer for sealing and is intended
to seal against a flat face.

The second (compression fitting) seals on an internal tapered face so
there's no need for the outer face to be flat, it will likely be V
shaped and may be sharp or uneven.

If the face of the on the compression is not too sharp and uneven, you
don't overtighten the quick release coupling and the working pressure
isn't too high then it should work fine.

If you find the end of the compression fitting too rough then you could
lightly file it flat with a fine file, make sure it is very smooth and
flat, possibly lap it on a sheet of wet & dry on a flat surface.

Yup should be fine. Much the same as fitting flex tap tails to the end
of a service valve. If you can't get a decent seal on the end of the
valve (unlikely IME), then you can always get a seal on the thread using
PTFE or fernox LS-X

Very likely - though not guaranteed. Whilst most 15mm compression fittings
use 1/2"BSP threads, some use a finer thread - so the nipple may not screw
on.

Assuming that it *does* screw on, you will - as others have said - need to
find a way of sealing it, since these parts are not *intended* to fit
together. I would be inclined to use liquid PTFE on the threads.
