If medicare is such a success, why isn't there a doughnut

There is nothing wrong with a program to help the needy and those who can't help themselves. The problem is that government run assistance programs are rife with waste and fraud plus the programs are used to buy votes by Liberal politicians who are well aware of the waste and fraud. ^_^

And corporate run medical companies are rife with corruption. waste, and
insurance company death panels whose only reason for making decisions is to
enhance profits. Our system costs twice as much as the medical care of just
about any other wealthy nation per capita, and the results are far worse. Infant
mortality in the USA is higher than 27 other wealthy countries.

Let me see, first those of your ilk attack those who oppose you as being stupid because you believe you're are the smartest people on Earth. Then you go on to calling everyone "racist" if they don't agree with you until finally resorting to calling your opponents "Nazi". not despair, I am for sale!"

There are two candidates who are not saying that. Trump and Bernie.
If you don't vote for one of those you are going to get another 8
years of Bushama.

Trumps doesn't believe only in himself and isn't telling people
what he thinks they want to hear? If that's not the case, then
explain for example his total 180 on immigration from what he
said 3 years ago and just 2 months ago.

I don't hear Trump saying "I have backbone" or that he "only believes
in himself". And he's certainly not into saying "whatever you want to
hear." Nor is he for sale, he's self funding. If you want more of the
same old crap go right ahead and vote for one of the other clown car

Congress, by the Constitution in meant to be in grid-lock. It was
designed that way. Checks and balances. America is better off. I'm
tired of a politician saying what they "will do", gets elected and not

What you want to hear and what the vast majority of the other voters

Elite is your term, not mine. All the other elites have bought
someone to run for them. Which would you rather have, your elite out
in the open taking responsibility for their actions or your elite
hiding behind the current and pulling the strings. If I'm going to
have one, I'll take the HONEST one who isn't hiding. You also object
that Trump has revised his positions on some things as if thinking
about something based on new data is a bad quality. As the famous,
but unusually misquoted quote says.."FOOLISH consistency is the
hobgoblin of small minds." The rest of the clown car candidates
engaged in the kind of FOOLISH consistency you seem to champion.

Ok, so assuming that's true, then Trump has bought himself
because clearly he's an elite. And do you really think Trump is
going to screw all his elite buddies, that he doesn't have
sympathy for their causes, etc?

Which would you rather have, your elite out
in the open taking responsibility for their actions

Trump doesn't take responsibility for his actions. When he
slandered John McCain with the despicable comment that McCain
was not a war hero, then proceeded to insult all POWs by saying
that he likes the vets that weren't POWs, what did Trump do?
Man up and apologize? No, he lied and denied saying it, said
that it was taken out of context, etc. He does similar almost
every day. He's lying and attacking the CNN reporter who a
couple days ago as part of her coverage of his speech in SC
reported that there were a lot of empty seats. There were you
can see the video yourself. Trump attacked her, CNN, and again
he's totally wrong. That's being responsible? Again, just
the facts.

or your elite
hiding behind the current and pulling the strings. If I'm going to
have one, I'll take the HONEST one who isn't hiding. You also object
that Trump has revised his positions on some things as if thinking
about something based on new data is a bad quality.

What new data emerged on immigration in the last 3 years? The
last two months? Trumps positions were very different then.
Nothing changed, except he senses that the Trumpies want to hear
him sound tough on immigration. And I've raised this question so
many times, but not one Trumpy will answer it. His current policy is
to round up 11+ mil illegals, including their US born children that
are citizens, run them through immigration courts, ruin their lives,
ultimately deporting them. And then he freely states that he will
then "expedite" their return here legally. That makes sense to you?
If so, explain it and why spending $125 bil to run people out and
then bring them right back makes sense. It's one of the stupidest
things I've ever heard, not to mention that even Trump knows it's
never going to happen. It would rip the country apart.

As the famous,
but unusually misquoted quote says.."FOOLISH consistency is the
hobgoblin of small minds." The rest of the clown car candidates
engaged in the kind of FOOLISH consistency you seem to champion.

Yeah, better to have a narcissistic megalomaniac that starts
twitter wars at 3AM, attacking and insulting anyone and everyone,
than a candidate with consistent, logical, well thought out
positions. With regard to the latter, Trump has not a single
one. The only actual policy he has is on immigration. And as
I pointed out above, how it could make any sense to a thinking
person at all, is beyond me.

I thought you had a right to change your mind? Especially after you are confronted with the truth. Sometimes it takes a while for a young person to grow up, see the light and acquire Conservative principles. Sometimes people are well into adulthood before they experience political puberty. ^_^

Sure, it's OK to change your mind, but when it happens so many
times and the changes are complete 180's, even with a month,
surely it raises questions. The timing is also important. If
someone changed their mind on something 20 years ago or 10 years
ago, and has been consistent since then, that's one thing.
If they changed it a year ago or a month
ago, just before running for office, that suggests something
different. In Trump's case, he only registered as a Republican
in 2012. He spent most of the 2000 decade as a registered Democrat.
In the period back to 2000, he's been a Democrat, an Independent,
a Reform Party candidate, a no party affiliation voter and now he
say's he's a Republican. Is there any other candidate in history
for president that joined the party just 3 years before running?

He's done similar on his signature item, immigration, see my other
post. Real change is one thing, faking it, telling supporters what
they want to hear is another. The ironic thing here is that the
Trumpies yell "Rino" when any established Republican has even the
most minor deviation from what they consider to be acceptable
conservative positions and they denounce them. Yet, Trump just by
the above, by any reasonable standards, is clearly the biggest
Rino of all.

You know I am only joking. Maybe not completely.

Sarah P was elected, and then ran, never to finish her term.

Those of your ilk were so terrified of Sara Palin that paid
operatives were sent to Alaska to attack her anyway they could such
as bringing numerous frivolous ethics complaints against her in
order to disrupt her job as governor and to bring financial ruin to
her family. Governor Palin resigned because of the large amount of
state money and resources it took to beat the legal ethics
complaints in court. I was amazed at how scared the Left was of
Sara Palin that they thought it necessary to do whatever they could
to harm her and her family. Making fun of her special needs infant
son was another nasty tactic used by the Left in an attempt to hurt
her. Bob, you and your fellow Progressive Liberal Leftist

When I heard McCain had selected Sarah, I celebrated.

Let me see, first those of your ilk attack those who oppose you as
being stupid because you believe you're are the smartest people on
Earth. Then you go on to calling everyone "racist" if they don't
agree with you until finally resorting to calling your opponents
"Nazi". If you're so smart, why is it you don't know that you're
using the tactics of your progenitors, the Nazis. ^_^

Here's a little clue for you. I'm not a drooling Palin supporter, I
just don't like the way you people treated her. ^_^

LOL!

Pot calling the kettle black. Rightards ALWAY accuse liberals of EXACTLY their

And the govt knows the proper diet, right? It was the govt that
told us how bad natural fat was and that trans fat was so much
better. People switched from butter to margarine for 25 years.
Transfats went into most commercial baked goods.
Now it turns out that the govt is banning trans fats as one of
the worst things ever. At the same
time, govt told us how we should be loading up on carbs, that bread,
pasta and cereal were good, meat was bad. Eat those carbs instead
of protein and fat and you won't get fat. Now with America in the
middle of an obesity epidemic, that govt edict is out the window too.

I don't think Bernie is serious about running. He is just
having fun clowning around and enjoying the attention.

If he was serious, he would register as a Democrat. (It is
really easy to do, the vomiting part clears up in a week
or two).

As it stands, all votes for him are invalid. They mean
nothing, except for the symbolism. And I think that is
his point.

Did you hear where Trump called Open Borders Rubio
the RINO a "clown" on immigration? Talk about
a guy who is bought and paid for.

I had a good laugh.
