I thought you had a right to change your mind? Especially after you are confronted with the truth. Sometimes it takes a while for a young person to grow up, see the light and acquire Conservative principles. Sometimes people are well into adulthood before they experience political puberty. ^_^

Sure, it's OK to change your mind, but when it happens so many
times and the changes are complete 180's, even with a month,
surely it raises questions. The timing is also important. If
someone changed their mind on something 20 years ago or 10 years
ago, and has been consistent since then, that's one thing.
If they changed it a year ago or a month
ago, just before running for office, that suggests something
different. In Trump's case, he only registered as a Republican
in 2012. He spent most of the 2000 decade as a registered Democrat.
In the period back to 2000, he's been a Democrat, an Independent,
a Reform Party candidate, a no party affiliation voter and now he
say's he's a Republican. Is there any other candidate in history
for president that joined the party just 3 years before running?

He's done similar on his signature item, immigration, see my other
post. Real change is one thing, faking it, telling supporters what
they want to hear is another. The ironic thing here is that the
Trumpies yell "Rino" when any established Republican has even the
most minor deviation from what they consider to be acceptable
conservative positions and they denounce them. Yet, Trump just by
the above, by any reasonable standards, is clearly the biggest
Rino of all.
