Channel 4 is looking for men aged 25-40 for a new dating format in which guys rise to the challenge and impress their way into a woman’s heart. Are you a whizz in the kitchen? A dab hand at DIY? Fancy yourself as a style guru? If you've got the skills to thrill then get in touch!

It is more on topic than most of the SPAM - you have to give him that...

But I suspect what they are looking for is a Beckham lookalike who can put
up a shelf without it falling off in 30 minutes, not someone who can self
build a loft extension...

Apart from the obvious rude response about diy and handymen, I think we
should have a show where desperate tv company ideas folk have to go out
with Essex girls as seen on a certain other show. It would be much cheaper
as a vast supply of both are obviously at hand and all work cheap.

Actually that's not a bad idea. Not the Essex girl bit but you could
have a show where people who think they have an idea for a show get to
pitch it to a panel of judges.

The public get to phone in to vote. The one that gets the least votes
gets kicked out and the others have to develop their ideas the following
week.

Rinse and repeat.

The one that is left at the end of the series gets to make their show.

Age discrimination, ****wittery and general signs of not having a clue. Hmm
Mentorn TV scraping the bottom of the "reality" TV barrel. No surprises
there then.

Oh will there be an Australian version? Because there's a dickless Aussie

If anything, it is the re-runs of very old programmes that offer the

No.

Is it worse when you change the kitchen striplight?

No idea, but it was one of the women that said she had a damp socket in her
bedroom that needed an electricians attention.

Well I agreed to go round to her house and have a look at it.

My socket tester only seemed to make the socket wetter!

I called a few more times after work to find the fault before never seeing
her again (the gf at the time said I was working too many late nights)

But I suspect what they are looking for is a Beckham lookalike who can
put up a shelf without it falling off in 30 minutes, not someone who can
self build a loft extension...
Oh, you must mean TurNiP?

No - I meant John Rumm who did exactly that

Hmm was under 40 when I did that... but not sure at what age I last
looked like Beckham though

Victoria?
