That's easy.

A five-time deferral, due to lack of 'junk', Cheney didn't mind going
to war with others' junk.
Been watching him all over the news channels spewing his vile back-
peddlin' venom, because he's scared he's going on trial soon. No five-
time deferral for that coward this time. That is if Rahm Emanuel sees
a political advantage for Israel, for Obama to pursue that path.

There you go.. that's easy, right?

Might work, I don't engage in much political discussion myself.

My wife and I have a couple we have been friends with for years,
our wives have forbid us to talk about politics, religion or the economy
(leads to politics) and we are not allowed to be unsupervised for fear that
we may ignore the rules. We have remained friends in spite of being
about as far apart politically as possible.

Not a bad system.

Buy some junk?

Make some junk?

Most here have done all 3 before, if you are more specific the group should

The system of following the rules or listening to your wives? Or perhaps,
the two are synonymous.

My wife has asked the husband of the other couple not to talk to me about
and his wife has made the same request of me, no doubt they cooked
this up together, we get to keep peace in our own family without our wives
telling
us what to do and honor the request of a friend at the same time.
Of course one of our wives will occasionally have to drag one of us off
and show us something that cannot wait to interrupt a conversation
that is beginning to stray to unpleasent ground.

Sounds like children being handled. Realistically, I know that is how
women
generally view their male counterparts. It only took me one or two
relationships to find this out and goes a long way to explaining why I
never
got married. It's rare occasion indeed that I find myself wondering what I
missed.

It might also explain why I'm such a control freak.

To me in a good marriage you each live for each other,
sometimes I'm handled, sometimes it is my wife, works
both ways.

My wife and I have been successful and stand alone
individuals, in a sense we choose to need each other,
it makes life very nice.

I have no desire to ever be single again.

Your friend can't be that far right wing. My brother-in-law, now HE's
right wing. Won't even eat the left wing of a chicken because the
right wing tastes better. And, as a true Republican (lives in Kansas),
he can never shut his mouth about his 'beliefs'.... because unless,

talk to people like that.

I've given the wrong impression, i'm quite far to the right and my friend

popular
with the masses, I do not align myself with the likes Rush Limbaugh or Bill

Fishing for bass with an ultralight and 6 lb test. It doesn't get any
better than this.
My niece recently married a fly-fisherman who works for Caballa (sp?)
Not safe fish in Kansas now, she really took to it.

I fly fish a little but I'm not graceful enough to show off in public.
Most of my fishing these days is with a small ultralight and 4 lb test
line for bluegill, I've become something of a bluegill addict.

My family has a 5 acre lake that has to have 100+ lbs of bluegill
and shellcrackers gotten out of it every year, as onerous as it is I
have reluctantly accepted the job. G.

As a young kid would go fishing in a potato farmer's pond where the
blue gills did abound.

Would take a 5 gallon milk can and fill it with the day's catch, the
drive over to the local creek and release them.

Wanted to release a few bass in that pond to "cull the herd" so to
speak, but never caught the bass.

Still have a picture some place of me with a 16 OZ blue gill I caught
from that pond on Memorial Day, 1948.

Caught him on light tackle and it was a struggle.

Wasn't sure if I had caught a fish, a turtle, or snagged a tree for a
while.

My dad almost crapped his pants watching me trying to land that fish.

Oh, but it does. [Sal****er] Red Fish (red drum) on light/medium
spinning tackle, say 10 pound test line, in shin deep, gin-clear water. Way
better eating than bass, too.

Fishing for bass with an ultralight and 6 lb test. It doesn't get any
better than this.

* * Oh, but it does. *[Sal****er] Red Fish (red drum) on light/medium
spinning tackle, say 10 pound test line, in shin deep, gin-clear water. *Way
better eating than bass, too.

The nice cold-water lakes have some tasty bass in them up here in
Canuckistan, But, overall, I prefer ocean fish.

Was the high light of my fishing career.

I'll bet... that's one monster Bluegill! I used to love catching those
little guys in my youth. My parents owned a weekend house right on the
water at the Lake Of The Ozarks in Missouri, and I can still smell that
"marine" aroma in my mind's nose.

When I worked in the hardware store, bought some Fred Argobasts/p
plugs, but never caught anything with them.

Remember the "Jitterbug", a surface bass plug of Fred's?

Over the years, quit fishing, but kept the fishing tackle, mostly out
of respect for my dad's memory.

1989 took my sailboat and took a month to explore the North Channel
and the Georgian Bay.

One even, just for fun, cast a jointed plug with a spinning rig and
started working it back to the boat when BANG, a hit.

Turned out to be a Northern Pike, maybe 30" long.

Dressed him out in the cockpit while fighting some of the biggest damn
mosquitoes on the planet.

Named him "Perry the Pike" and enjoyed him for dinner the next night.

It took more than 35 years to catch something with those plugs, but
better later than not at all.

That was another fond fishing memory.

While some junk is obnoxious, junk in the trunk can be a good thing

I think the "junk" he's referring to is what's mentioned in this video:
