So I will time the job for 3pm when the Vulcan takes off close to back of
the house I am working at - and I'll take the gf's lad to see it. BTW the Vulcan will be in Bournemouth at about 4pm if anyone from the newsgroup lives there. This new display was only anounced last night. -- Adam |

I'm fairly certain a saw a Vulcan flying over my back garden in North Manchester when I was small. My dad told me it was a Vulcan Bomber, it was a black triangle such as I had never seen before. It was much the same time as any helicopter seen was Basil de Ferranti commuting to work. -- Graham. %Profound_observation% |

Carry a brolly and "accidently" manage to stick it through the front spokes of a badly behaved cyclist. Treat yourself you are on holiday. You **** off first! I know how to confront this scum. I only meet the *******s when I'm taking the dog out and I obstruct them when they are on the footpath. They then go on the road and look back with their stupid gobs wide open in amazement. A brolly is difficult. I have the dog's lead in one hand, a can of strong lager in the other hand and a fag in my gob. I'd welcome any help on this issue. Strap the brolly to your beer arm with gaffer tape? -- Everything you read in newspapers is absolutely true, except for the rare story of which you happen to have first-hand knowledge. €“ Erwin Knoll |

Remember to take the fag out of your mouth, presumably with your third hand, before drinking out of the can. Then throw the can at the offending cyclist. -- Davey. |

I believe that they give good advice on how to hold a can of Special Brew, a lit cig and a dog lead in one hand so that you can carry a brolly in the other hand. Mind you IMHO AA meetings would have a bigger following if they put a couple of bottles of wine on the table for those attending the meetings. -- Adam |
