I wasn't aware of it going to Scarborough, I made a trip to
Blackpool to see it and the weather cancelled it, the rest of the
displays are in the Deep South, Far West, Irishland or
Scottishland, none of which are of any use to a large swathe of the
country.

Make that 'trunk' road a.k.a. A14.

Given the number of HGV's on that bit of road, 'truck' seems appropriate
