90% of Mexican guns from the US? Horsehit!!

My little Bersa came from Argentina! It's just a cheapie little squirt gun, but it's nicely made, and surprisingly accurate. I have a Bersa 95 in .380, thousands of rounds later it is still holding up fine. Wes -- It is 100 times safer for your child to visit a home with a gun in it than a swimming pool. Something to think about. |

It did not follow me home. No, don't think I've seen that one. But sorry it didn't follow you home... I picked out the Bersa at the San Antonio gun show one summer. It was the smallest thing I could find that I could get my whole hand on. And the price was way right. I've probably put maybe 1000 rounds through it. (Back when bullets were cheap. .380 is really high now!) I think going to the range is a great dating idea! That's just nuts. .380 is a 9mm short, 2mm shorter than 9mmp with a lighter bullet -- and ammo costs nearly double. I never thought reloading .380 would make any sense, but last summer ammo prices rose to where the amortization time for the dies dropped to under 1 year. |

The same. Nice little pistol. Well made (machined metal! WE on topic - sorta) It was fairly inexpensive purchased during a time I was concerned that I did have someone that wanted to do me harm. Given the small size, it gives respectable feedback, recoil wise when you touch it off. Magazines are a bit pricey. I've shot Lee 102g cast bullets and jacketed out of it. Nice thing about a blow back action is the barrel has no links or bushings. I always shoot better with it or my .357 Ruger Security Six target model. About a year ago the Ruger LCP was going for about $280. Recent price at Gander was $389. When I went to buy some .22 rimfire ammo last week at Wal-Mart they had NO handgun ammo larger than .22. They used to always have 9mmp, .357 mag, .40 S&W and .45ACP and usually some .380ACP. |

Just goes to show how much the public trusts the Obamassiah..and what they are willing to do to prepare for the Day. Shrug..works for me! Im glad others are buying lots and lots of guns and ammo. I was not looking forwards to shooting all those Leftwingers. Im glad to see others are preparing for the Day. It will help take the load off me. Gunner "[L]iberals are afraid to state what they truly believe in, for to do so would result in even less votes than they currently receive. Their methodology is to lie about their real agenda in the hopes of regaining power, at which point they will do whatever they damn well please. The problem is they have concealed and obfuscated for so long that, as a group, they themselves are no longer sure of their goals. They are a collection of wild-eyed splinter groups, all holding a grab-bag of dreams and wishes. Some want a Socialist, secular-humanist state, others the repeal of the Second Amendment. Some want same sex/different species marriage, others want voting rights for trees, fish, coal and bugs. Some want cradle to grave care and complete subservience to the government nanny state, others want a culture that walks in lockstep and speaks only with intonations of political correctness. I view the American liberals in much the same way I view the competing factions of Islamic fundamentalists. The latter hate each other to the core, and only join forces to attack the US or Israel. The former hate themselves to the core, and only join forces to attack George Bush and conservatives." --Ron Marr |

I have no intentions of shooting ANY body. That **** wears hard on the soul. What I'd like to hear is Gunner calming down a bit. Like to keep the old fart around for a while longer. It will help take the load off me. Gunner People have been hoarding since the election in fear of anticipated shortages or unavailability. This increased demand has created the very shortages and price increases they feared. A dealer in St. Cloud, MN told me that people who don't even reload have been buying primers. They hope to scalp them for profit at gun shows, etc. His store got a shipment in, sold 100K primers in 4 hours a bit over a week ago. Another guy told me that Gander has 3 million primers on order. Things will settle down. They are already starting to -- but the price hikes have stuck, fancy that. I found some primers here in town this week for about $40 per 1000. Last fall they were about $22 per 1000. |
