It's the Value Line offered by Wilke Machinery in York, PA, who also
sells/ imports Bridgewood.

It appears to be on a level with Grizzly and may come from some of the
same factories but I've heard nothing about reliability and QC.

Charlie Self might know, as he stays pretty close to this sort of
thing.

Bought their 6" jointer last winter. Direct from factory with freight
it saved me about $75 over the similar Delta model which comes from the
same factory. The Yorkcraft came with a a mobile base built in which
was another attaction/savings. FWW did a review of jointers about a
year ago and they rated the Delta highly. They also said the same
things about the Y-C as it is essentially the same product. The fit and
finish are very good. My only concern was with the motor as Delta used
to put an American Baldor motor in their products, but I don't know if
they did with this product or not. The motor is made in China but I
have no complaints with it so far. It can be rewired for 220VAC and I
did do that.

The Wilke Machinery/Yorkcraft company was very good to do biz with -
they shopped the freight for me and also made up for a minor ding in the
base by giving me an extra set of knives for gratis. I would shop there
again ...

I bought an 8 inch Yorkcraft last year and have been totally satisfied with
it. The only initial problem was that the outfeed table was a little high
and the knives needed a little adjusting in order to work properly. Once
setup, it has worked like a charm; warped maple goes in and flat maple comes
out. In fact, it is so flat that the wood seems to be stuck to the outfeed
table. I would most certainly buy there again. It appears identical to my
neighbor's Delta for which he paid hundreds more.
