Conservatory glazing
I am installing a conservatory and have been offered 28mm argon filled
window units fitted with Novapanes "Nova Neutral Plus 1.1" glass which the conservatory supplier claims to be a superior unit to K glass. The Novapane (www.novagroup.co.uk) data sheet claims a thermal transmittance coefficient, U value, of 1.1 W/sqmK for the argon sealed unit. Does anyone have any experience of this glass or the glazing units and can you advise if it is superior (or a least euivalent) to K glass. Thanks Dave |

Thanks Well 16mm argon between 4mm panes with inner of K has a U of 1.46 so it does seem quite good. How much is it compared with K ? |
