hum - very loud low frequency sent to tweeters for some reason. Burning
smell, then smoke and a little flame.

Scorched parrot me thinks.


They like electricity. One chewed the flex to the fishtank light and exposed the live wire. Didn't seem to stop him! Mind you it may have been a different story if he got the nuetral in the same bite....

Think about it - there is no current flow (assuming you are not otherwise earthed).

Did you know a guy once crashed his car and was catapulted onto live wires? He wasn't electrocuted. But they couldn't get him down till they switched the current off, as the fire engine ladder was steel.
