Recycling centre - electricals in scrap metal?
Went to the tip and the dedicated skip for electricals had gone, and
they were going in with the scrap metal. Just curious, what might that be about? Is the WEEE thing not compulsory? |

In the past, this sort of stuff was sent to W. Africa where it was broken down (mostly by setting it on fire) to get the metals out. I think it's been stopped now due to all the pollution it was causing. Plus PC correctitudes. |
