There is no way that would look like a speed bump. It isn't even drawn like any which actually exist. It appeared to be a poor representation of some concrete blocks, such as they'd use to block off a small road.

More easily seen and avoided when you're looking at them and not signs. Work out hte correct speed for yourself, don't follow distracting instructions.

The answer is found when they say "Cover your left eye" - in real life, you have your left eye to fill in the blind spot of your right eye.

You can very quickly either brake or steer away from it.

Steering away from something you;ve just seen can make you drive off the road into a tree. Trees don't move very fast do they.

Because people can't react as fast as you think, otherwise drivers wouldn't need to indicate when they were goiong to turn the driver behind would see them turn and act accordingly.
