Brian As far as the ES website is concerned status is OK http://www.eternal-september.org/ser...hp?language=en but the number of accesses is much reduced (but not zero) since early this morning. I'm on VM which is related to Brian's Blueyonder so it could be a ISP problem? Anyone else getting ES as normal?? Bob |

Brian Configuration: Account: Eternal September server Server: news.eternal-september.org User name: retina1 Protocol: NNTP Port: 119 Secure(SSL): 0 Error Number: 400 Code: 800ccca0 yes it was unavailable yesterday, then a windows advice notice came up in the evening saying eternal-september wasn't authorised/recognised. Ticking the exemption box cured the problem. This was windows 7, which had automatically updated the day before. ES security certificate revoked. -- Tciao for Now! John. |
