Default Laying Decking Next Week

About to lay my deck boards next week. Brother in law has a compressor, so
I thought I might just be able to buy a air drill to screw the boards down
with. Do air drills work at variable speeds to allow me to control the
drilling? I'm looking at this one.

No, they're really not suitable for this at all (no slow start). You
need either a good cordless drill/driver, or an impact driver.

I agree with my learned colleague - impact driver is the way to go.

Have you already done the frame?

Yeah, frames done and ready to go. Neighbour is offering his Spit Gun to
nail it down, but I would prefer to screw it down, incase it needs to come
up again.
