debt. The top tax bracket is at historical LOWS, except for a couple of
years. For decades, rates much HIGHER than our current rates were considered
to be appropriate and fair -- and our economy was growing at a much higher
rate.

And making statements about how our economy was growing at a faster
rate when the rich paid a higher percentage of their income in taxes.
As if there was a causal relationship. Now the top income brackets
pay a higher percentage of the income taxes paid even though the
percentage of income paid in income taxes is less. So why don't you
face it. Your argument is false. Can you understand that?
