They're using the Soviet terminology where "Progressive Elements" (Soviet
term) were also known as "Freedom Fighters" in Socialist countries and
"Terrorists" elsewhere.

If the Socialists want to claim the "Progressive" title then you'll know
just what they a Rabid Radical Leftists who will attack our system at

OTOH, they might not wish to *actually* perform an illegal act of
violence - they'll stick to political/fiscal/ideological attacks.
