Just caulk with any exterior latex caulk, maybe 2 or 3-times to bring flush to the stucco. Then, paint it up with a couple of coats. -- for full context, visit https://www.homeownershub.com/mainte...r-1146431-.htm |

Todd, You don't say how big the missing "chunk" is. HD sells a quart sized tub of "pre-mixed stucco patch". I've used it and it works well for small repairs. Clean the area of any small pieces that are broke, brush it out. Do NOT try to finish and texture at one time. Fill the void part way first. Work in stages. Allow the first application to dry well. It will shrink and crack. (like drywall mud). Apply another coat, dry, etc. The final coat can be textured to match. If the stucco is painted; just let the patch cure well before you paint. |

You're the same guy that says drywall should only be hung vertical. I bet you don't live in a stucco home. Would ten (10) tubes of caulk work? (Pay no attention to the man from home groaner's hub) |
