1. I've noticed when sitting on the toilet t hat I have no trouble
getting to one inch of it, and then I sort have to plop down, like
bailing out of a plane. I"m pretty sure I could do this for more
than 1 inch also. This works pretty well, but as I get older, will
the 1" grow to 2 or 3? OTOH if "comfort" toilets are only 2 inches
higher, it might not be worth it. I'm pretty sure I can plop 2 or 3
inches when the time comes.

There are plenty of positive things to say about pressure-assisted
toilets, which account for half of all toilets purchased, according to

==I assumed some sort of air pressure had to be provided to make
those motel toilets flush with so much pressure, but if half of all
toilets are like that, that must mean no extra air supply is needed.

==How do they generate the extra pressure?

Consumer Reports. Their brawny flushing action is water-efficient,
helps keep the bowl clean and virtually eliminates clogs. But that
high-octane power comes with a price: some pressure-assisted toilets
sound like jet engines as they forcefully perform their job.
Fortunately, the technology continues to improve as manufacturers
tinker with noise control solutions. One model to consider is Niagara
Conservation's Stealth Toilet, which — thanks to a patented hydraulic
system — provides a strong, effective flush that is quieter than its
competition."

You can buy raised seats or add ons for height. We remodeled both
bathrooms in the past couple of years and the comfort height really
makes a difference for us. We put some it at work too.

It is also handy to have a vanity next to the toilet to give you a boots
with your arm resting on it.

I have no idea. With new designs there is no reason to have a power
flush. Our Kohler toilets have never missed sending all the solids out.
There are other brands that work well too.

* WRONG * As you get older, it gets SHORTER! If you only have one inch
now, you'll only have a half inch in 10 years from now......
By then, there wont be much to plop down when you do it on the toilet!

Butt could it flush a whole chocolate cake and remove the skid marks?

I'm still waiting for a toilet that dont require any water. The water
flushing toilet is old school and obsolete. With all our technology the
time has come to develop something that dont pollute our fresh water
sources. The old wooden outhouses were far superior, except for the
inconvenience. The solids simply went back to the earth where they
should go, and in the process, they worked as fertilizer.

+1 about that but there is an aid available that has a plate that clamps
between the china and the seat clamps using the seat bolts at the rear. The
armrests are slid into the clamp mechanism to allow them to pivot up or down
for height adjustment and the armrests curve and and down like a goose-neck
on a cane and there are the pushbutton type adjusters; like a cane for the
front height.

DAGS or visit a medical supply for more info. The only thing I don't like
about it is the hard plastic armrests tend to break off at the front. I just
tape them up.

Being able to use two arms to get up avoids the shoulder wear...

If you need more help please post or email.

How about a

and a tree climbers harness to slowly lower yourself in place.
