Default Air Filters for Smokers

Please plan on rent to smokers for the next tenants. Or, plan to scrub
every surface with pine sol or simple green and warm water. Steam
clean or replace the carpets.
Hope this helps your Google Fu. http://tinyurl.com/23akemw

I've got some smokers in the rental house and want to add air
filtering. I've got a small hepa type filter with an ionizer in
temporarily. But since I am dealing with mostly smoke, I wonder if one
of the electrostatic types would work just as well if not better.

Suggestions? Google is failing me here.

Jeff

Don't forget replacing the air ducts.

Those ionizer things really halp - stick the smoke to the walls, floors,
carpets, ducts, etc. Better to use a true (electronic) electrostatic air
cleaner. At least you can wash off what it collects.

When ive had to get smokers apartments ready it was double to tripple
the work, and it still smells like smoke if you have forced air.
