OT When in police interrogation room, do you:

(snip) That could be another reason for a random stop: Turn on the bubble-gum machine and see who scoots. Of course there would be profiling involved, so the idea is probably a non-starter. Around here, that is how cops clear the Stop'n'Rob parking lots of herds of teenagers, when the owner calls in and complains. They pull into the lot across the street, with their nose facing the herd of kids, and just sit there for a few minutes. Dispatch calls them 'making your presence felt' calls. No paperwork, no muss, no fuss, unless one of the kids gets really stupid. Apparently the practice is described in Teenager 101 around here, and the kids know if they hang around, the cop comes across the street, and they will get the full proctoscope treatment. -- aem sends... |

In my million miles on the road I had few tickets two of them was not call for. One of them was in Parsippany/Troy Hills in NJ not only that I did not deserve to be summons but these scum bag did not show up in court three times and the SOB judge refused to throw the tick but keep rescheduling and prosecutor had to go to call this scum bag on radio to get his ass to court. This cop was out of his uniform stopping everybody, no radio no gun no officer hat privet car and the ticket I got was because my left side tires was not completely in lane of strait away when I went through a light / intersection which he could not see from where he was, but this filthy SOB of judge did gave have decided to make me pay fine that was it. Judge Anthony J. Frese Did you ever graduate from high school, or even 6th grade? : After hearing this story, I said: "Wait a minute. I can believe the Army has such a rule on vaccinations, but Mark Clark had FOUR STARS on his friggin' shoulder. What if he violated the rule? The Germans would be, like, upset? Make Clark sit in the corner and feel shame?" David said he wasn't privy to the negotiations as he was sent back to North Africa straight away. Maybe FDR had a "thing" about dog vaccinations. He was Commander in Chief, which outranks a 4-star General, no? -- Tegger |

Years ago, I used to work at a FBO at my local airport, flying charters and occasionally working behind the desk and manning the phone. One day I got bored and started looking in customer files on the computer. "What illiterate has been in here?", I asked. It turned out it was one of our Norwegian flight instructors. There is a flight academy in Conway, SC that attracts Scandinavians by the dozen for flight training that is much cheaper than they can get in their own countries. My company would regularly hire their graduates to use as flight instructors. So it was one of them. I immediately apologized for my comment. Reading English is a lot easier than writing it. All you have to do is know the root of a word and you can generally figure out what is being written. It's a lot tougher when you have to supply the proper tense. I know this because I tried to learn Norsk. I can halfway read it but my writing sucks. Jay |
