Around here, that is how cops clear the Stop'n'Rob parking lots of herds
of teenagers, when the owner calls in and complains. They pull into the
lot across the street, with their nose facing the herd of kids, and just
sit there for a few minutes. Dispatch calls them 'making your presence
felt' calls. No paperwork, no muss, no fuss, unless one of the kids gets
really stupid. Apparently the practice is described in Teenager 101
around here, and the kids know if they hang around, the cop comes across
the street, and they will get the full proctoscope treatment.
