I have Utah, Nevada and Florida CCF permits. With reciprocity, that

bar none. And it's all based on common sense, something seriously
lacking in today's world.

And your posts are the best evidence of that. If you ever acted, even
once, as you have stupidly advised the OP to do, you'd lose all three of
those CCF permits.

If in fact you even have them.

Amen to that. People like him give the 99% of gun owners who are rational
and not trying to prove something, a bad name. Real men don't need to talk
about how tough they are.

They also don't write in to newsgroups whining about people coming on their
property, looking for support from other whiners.

Huh? Telling him to be a man on his own property?

A *man* doesn't need to draw a deadly weapon to deal with a neighbor who
came
over to talk to him about a complaint.

Only a fool draws a deadly weapon in response to a conversation.

And only a complete idiot would publicly advise others to do so; perhaps
you'll recognize yourself in this category, but probably you won't.

In case you didn't notice also, I'm not writing in asking what to do when
some nitwit mother****er comes on my property and gives me a ration of
unwarranted ****.

Things must be different at your house.

Steve

How much further can you cram that foot down your throat, Steve? The OP
said *nothing* about mm being a "nitwit mother****er" or that he "gave
him a ration of unwarranted ****." You're about as far out of line with
your gun brandishing as you could be. You'd shoot a ****ing girl scout
for selling cookies.

Huh? The guy comes over and asks the OP to quit making any noise when the
OP isn't. Maybe the OP should ask if leaving the porch light on is
bothering the OP. Or if he wants the OP to just cut the motor, and cruise
into the driveway under no power and use the door farthest away from the
neighbor's house and not the garage door opener.

I don't shoot girl scouts. I do not brandish a gun. Those are illegal.
Those are stupid things to do, but then you were the one who brought up
those scenarios. I will go out today to do work, and I will carry pepper
spray and a concealed weapon. I do it lots of days, but you'd never know it
because that is what the word "concealed" means. You don't reveal it until
you are ready to shoot. You draw and fire. It's about that simple.

Stick to the original discussion if you would. Just tell the neighbor to go
away and never set foot on their property again. And if they don't respect
you or your property enough to do that, do the man thing.

Steve

Of course not. You don't have the balls. You just tell other people to do it.

Those are stupid things to do,

And even stupider things to tell other people to do.

Apparently you are profoundly stupid or new to Usenet.

Advice, opinions, and instructions here are not binding. No one is required
to follow any suggestion offered here regarding anything. The reader must
apply common sense to the situation in regard to his/her/its own
circumstances, then choose a choice of action.

If someone writes in and asks what's the best hammer, they are not required
to follow all advice. That would be impossible.

So, why do you single me out?

If anyone is stupid enough to follow the suggestions, opinions, or advice of
this group without thinking it through for themselves, then they should not
be allowed to operate a computer, and surely should not be allowed to go out
of the house without adult supervision. And absolutely NO sharp objects or
tools.

But you knew that, right?

I'm not in charge here. You, on the other hand, obviously think you are.

Steve

We're talking about a condominium here, Steve. Usually the best course
of action is to be neighborly, which includes such things as making
compromises. The OP has a right to come home at 3 in the morning. MM
(the neighbor) has a right to an undisturbed night of sleep.

Compromises do not involve pointing guns at one's neighbors and telling
them that if they ever set foot on your side of the fence again, you're
going to blow their ****ing brains out. That is what you've repeatedly
advocated. MM isn't raping the OPs fourteen year old daughter, for
christ's sake, he's just asking him to be a little quieter. Whatever the
resolution to the problem, it should not involve guns, nor even fists,
nor even raised voices.

Maybe you were drunk and ****ed off the day of your first reply, but
you've repeatedly stood by your assertion that the best course of action
is to threaten to kill the neighbor. If that's what you really believe,
you aren't psychologically qualified to own a firearm.
