Rare sheet metal tool
For those that care, I spotted these on ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tem=7590997382 Those are rare? I'm sure they don't make 'em like they used to, but... http://www.grizzly.com/products/h5958 http://www.irwin.com/irwin/consumer/...rwinProd430016 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00...lance&n=228013 |

Rare sheet metal tool
In article ,
says... Hate to burst your bubble here but each and every link you posted leads to a tool with straight blades inline with their handles. The ebay link shows a tool with the blades 60° OFFSET from the handles. Using the straight bladed tool, try turning a 90° flange in an opening smaller than the length of the tool. McMaster-Carr has offset seamers for around $35 if I remember correctly, brand new, good quality. www.mcmaster.com -- is Joshua Putnam http://www.phred.org/~josh/ Books for Bicycle Mechanics and Tinkerers: http://www.phred.org/~josh/bike/bikebooks.html |

You're right in one aspect, they sure dont make them like they used to. Got anymore links? Don H. Retirement is worth the wait. http://oldworlddistributors.com/pix_oseamer.html |

Rare sheet metal tool
"Rick" wrote Don H. Retirement is worth the wait. "The problem with being retired is that you never know what day it is, what time it is, where you're supposed to be, or what you're supposed to be doing. It's a lot like working for the government." From "Over the Hill and On a Roll" by Bob Phillips |
