820!

We used to have a rather crass but very fun engineering manager where I used
to put a big 820 on the wall under the wreath. (actually it was an 819 but
the number list seems to have drifted over the last 30 years).

take two... I really have to proof read

820!

We used to have a rather crass but very fun engineering manager where I used
to work
who would put a big '820' sign on the wall under the wreath. (actually it
was an 819 but
the number list seems to have drifted over the last 30 years).
God love ya, Dan Krebbs, wherever you are.

No kids, or grandkids ?:-(

We expect to have 25 visitors for "Christmas Eve" dinner (*) I'm
trying to figure out where to arrange tables so no one feels isolated.

Due to "global warming" it's going to be unusually cold, so we can't
do it outdoors like we have in the past ;-)

(*) I say "Christmas Eve" because it will actually be on December 26,
to accommodate work and travel considerations of on-call prosecutors,
college students coming from Nebraska, etc.

The odds have crashed on a white Christmas here.

Typically, at Christmas, I have to run the A/C, and the adult males
retreat to the patio to gab and drink their beers, while dinner is
prepared... sometimes I even cook on the barby ;-)
