Default Drill Press Depth Stop

Am trying to find out what size the thread is for the depth stop on
the Deta 18-900L Drill Press. Even Delta Machinery can't tell me. If
anybody has the Delta 18-900L could you please tell me what size
threads are on the set bolt #111, that the depth stop #11 fits on.

Thanks in advace.

Clarification? Are you saying that you actually have the #111 part and just
want to know what sort of threads are on it so that, presumably, you can
get a nut to fit it? My first choice would be to apply a thread gauge to
the threads in question -- any machinist should have one or you might just
drop in on your industrial fastener supplier with the part in hand and ask
them to please measure it. I would measure my Delta DP but it uses a
different (and inferior IMHO) depth stop system.

As does mine, it works but it's kinda chintzy.

No I do not have part 111 the set bolt. On my drill press, which I
modified, I have a quick release stop that fits a 12x1.75 thread. I
need another stop.If I knew the thread size on the Delta I would know
if I can get one other Delta stop or if I need two stops and the set
bolt.

I have an 18-900L at home. I;ll see if I can measure it tonight. You
want the thread on the depth stop, itself, right?

set rod. Thanks,.
