Default Festool looking for industry professionals to test the Domino XL

Just got this email from Festool. Thought that some of you might be
interested in this.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We're looking for 25 of the best industry professionals (carpenters,
remodelers, furniture and cabinet makers, etc.) in the United States
and Canada to put the Domino XL through its paces and provide us with
feedback and share how it fits into your shop to help tackle your most
demanding projects. For those who are selected, we will send you the
Domino XL and an ample supply of tenons months before its North
American introduction.

Are you interested? If so, send us an email at
and tell us why you think we should select you!

The following information must be provided at a minimum for
consideration in our Domino XL test program:

Are you currently a Festool customer?
What is your profession, what type of work do you do?
What types of projects do you have in mind or scheduled for which the
Domino XL would be well suited?
Why should you be selected?
Your name and contact information.
We would encourage you to share a link to your website, photos or
video that showcases previous work that you've done. The more detailed
information you provide, the better your chances of being selected.
Selection will not be based on whether you are an existing Festool or
Domino owner, as we are looking for a mix of new and existing
customers for this test.

Entries must be received no later than December 31st, 2011. Festool
will notify selected participants no later than January 31st, 2012
with additional information and to make arrangements for shipping the
product.

For additional video of the Domino XL in action, check out the thread
on the Festool Owners Group forum where Peter Parfitt from England did
a very thorough three part video review.

Yeah, but it's not a contest. Obviously it's who they feel will most
demonstrate the capabilities of the XL. I'd say that those drawers
with Domino pinned front faces that you made for Swingman would most
definitely qualify. I've looked through quite a few projects on the
Festool Owners Group and I haven't seen anything that looked like your
drawers. My guess is that's exactly what they're looking for ~
innovation. Cabinet construction with the Domino is almost passe.

Ditto that. Go for it Leon. Just don't use the word passe in your
application when referring to anything Festoolish.

As well as those drawer fronts, I was wondering if you had used your
Domino for any other innovative use?
