Default older sears scroll saw

I picked up an older Sears 18 inch scroll saw and the entire saw tilts
rather than the table. It came mounted to a plywood base. I have tried
clamping this down to a portable workmate bench to use it.
The vibration is so bad I that I can make cuts but I can't tell where
I am making them.

I had one of those a good many years ago.
Clamp it to a 1 ton concrete block.

Get a DeWalt scrollsaw. More money, but NO vibration.
