23-ga pin nailer redux, or the way it used to be ...
.... and still is, if you can spend the $$'s.
After using one belonging to a friend who runs a local cabinet company, I purchased the rather pricey Omer PR18, 23-ga pinner: http://www.nailzone.com/index.asp?Pa...PROD&ProdID=55 (Basically a calculated decision to buy European (Italian) with a company that still knows how to make quality tools, rather than with the politician pandering MBA's running United Corporations of America's woodworking tool businesses today ... and besides, it shall nicely qualify as a write-off thanks to Section 179 of your UCA friendly tax code) .. and what the hell: business is good, for a while. You have to see/feel/heft/use it to really appreciate the absolutely astounding difference between this tool and the "outsourced" crap that is currently being foisted on the average, gullible American woodworker. -- www.e-woodshop.net Last update: 5/6/06 |

Readily available online from at least two US locations, and from Omer's Canadian office. Other than that consideration, it *does* look like a really decent pinner. If a Lexus is "decent" piece of machinery, you can color this tool with a much brighter brush. -- www.e-woodshop.net Last update: 5/6/06 |

23-ga pin nailer redux, or the way it used to be ...
Nice looking unit but was surprised to see it only had pins up to 3/4" - My
PC goes to 1" and there is another brand that I cannot remember that goes to about 1 1/4" - The extra length does come in handy sometimes. . .
