Previously, on the wreck
one of you posted a "method" to find a window manufacturer - one that
makes the sealed glass units - not the whole window. I need such a beast now and haven't had much luck trying to search for 'em because I keep finding whole window manufacturers. Help? THanx Renata |

THanx Renata I use one or three of the local dozen or so glass shops here locally. I forget where you're located but it's good practise to support the local folks when you can.... |

Local would be good, but I'm having trouble figuring out what key words to use in a search - whether thru the yellow pages or an online search. Keep finding whole window manufacturers. MD 'burbs of WasDC. Renata Have you tried Banner Glass? I had them cut some safety glass for a window by the bathtub, and asked if they could do the same size panes in double insulated glass. They said "Sure!". I haven't bit that bullet yet (20 windows, 12 panes each) I am in Rockville, on the Pike, but I think they have other locations. Good luck, Paul |

Good luck, Paul They have one on Rt40 West in Ellicott City also. I've never tried to buy anything but sheet but they might be able to at least point you in the right direction if they don't have it.
