I'm looking to buy my first and last bandsaw and am considering the Rikon
10-340 or a Laguna LT16.
Does anyone have the Rikon and if so are you happy with it.... did it meet
your expectations... do you wish you had spent another $800 and got a
Laguna?
Please dont tell me about your Delta or Grizzly or Jet or whatever. I am
not interested in them. Thank you.

Yes, I have the Rikon 10-340 and I like it very much. I haven't done
a lot with it yet but it is a solid machine and have done enough to
have confidence in it (which, to me, contributes to 99% of my success
with a piece of equipment). I have some pictures posted on my website

a link to a very thorough review of the Rikon.

I bought mine a few months back and have been delighted with it. No regrets.
I bought it specifically as FWW called it a best buy. To get more saw, I'd had
had to go the Laguna, and I just didn't see that I'd have gotten three times the
saw; only three times the price.

Rikon makes a fine product.
