I think I started at about 460 rpm, because it had some vibration at 500.
(default start speed)

After the top and bottom were rounded, I went up to about 800 rpm to take what
was left of the corners off...

Ran out of time this morning, hoping to finish it tomorrow..

Is it hard to find a good piece of ash where you are Mac?
I've had to go a couple towns over to find a good piece sometimes
myself!

Always happy to confuse fellow turner's, Bill...

I meant to take an "in progress" picture this afternoon and forgot..
It's roughed, shaped, hollowed and undercut.. I'll take a pic before I finish
turn and sand..
